Just wondering how the hidden artifact appearances work - i got the hidden tank appearance for warrior and want the recolor, but i’m starting a new warrior. Can i just mog into 1 piece of the artifact or does it have to be both? Does it even work if you just transmog it, or do you need to actually equip it?
It doesn’t matter what your weapons are transmogged into.

Also you don’t have to equip it.
All you need is to do all the required hidden achievements on the same character that unlocked the base appearance after you unlocked the base appearance. You don’t have to use that appearance at all. As soon as you unlock it the game will keep track. It just can’t be any other warrior, it has to be that exact warrior that did unlock the base tint.
