Hidden Staff option?

Why hiding your staff isnt a transmog option? Mages, Priests, Warlocks, etc. dont even use the staff in fight, they do all the stuff with their hands.

My mage looks so ugly and stupid with this long stick on its back.

Hmm, I agree.

better caster animations would be better imo. I rather would have proper casting animations than the flashy bright spells everywhere in fights wich becomes hell for epileptics

I agree, tho I managed to find a fitting staff
for my mage. But, since their utility seems to come more from an “enchanted object”, it could be a necklace, or even a pair of gloves. This is something I’ve never understood too: if magic in wow doesn’t work like the common mage casting from his staff, why not go full bananas with it and make it for real? It would be damn stylish. A few animations more, and lots of transmog potential!

Anyway, you can already do this if you want: when I want to play a weaponless mage, I just equip a wand/dagger + offhand and xmog it to the ghost shard dagger (I don’t remember the right name) which turns invisible when sheathed. That and, off-hand items are mostly invisible too.

Edit: this one!

Yeah  Even if I turn off all lightening effects and play on low graphics, warlock spells still burning my eyes.

Hell yea! I would love spells like earthquake where a shaman would smash his weapon into the ground. Or rain of fire or blizzard where the warlock/mage would raise their staff towards the sky or so

yeah focusing more on your characters casting instead of the blinding pool of dhiarrhea wich are spell effects of all players would be great. It also would help people actually see things during fights xD

Something more nice would be to make us use staves when casting spells. Much like the way they interact in movies when for example Gandalf or Saruman uses theirs in Lord of the Rings, or like in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim/Oblivion.
