Hide Profession Equipment

When i’m crafting, my character’s appearance changes to wear profession equipment i have equiped. (tailoring, Cooking and Enchanting).

I know it supposed to do that but it never happened until this last reset and i’m sure there was an option to hide the equipment, which i had turned on. But i can’t for the life in me find that option now.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for that option? Every time i craft my char gets stuck with this equipment on and i have to keep removing the buff to get rid of it as it doesn’t go once i finish crafting.

There’s a tauren lady that lets you toggle it. I’m not sure where she is in each zone, but she’s definitely at one of the crafting posts near the Ruby oathstone. Also, combat removes the gear, so you can quickly kill some nearby critter to lose the buff too.

Thank you… i was just about to post back and say i’d found her. I spotted her (Mahra Treebender) in between the Tailoring and Enchanting stations in Valdrakken.

I was beginning to think i was loosing it :rofl: :grinning:

Yo what? Can I make it hide my silly mining helmet and blacksmithing hammer too?! Who, what & where?!

Yes you can, there’s also an option at that same NPC to hide gathering equipment.

Yep. As Ráevelyn just pointed out, the npc Mahra Treebender gives various toggles for when the crafting/gathering gear shows. You talk to her during the Dragonflight tutorial for the new gear in the first zone.

Brilliant, I’ll check that out. I don’t mind it using the stuff whilst I craft, or gather, but I dislike the silly helmet staying on haha

you can also right click it like an unwanted buff

Yes, indeed! I should have suggested that my comment was for those of us who are less concerned about it. I never knew about that Tauren until I read this post. Good addition to that game.

It keeps coming back even when u arent using the proffesions at all, its super annoying

Yeah that’s what was happening to me also and it wasn’t being removed in combat either.

No idea how the hide option even got turned off for me, just happened after the patch last week but at least it hasn’t done it again since after i turned it back on.

I didnt even know u could take it off. Been avoiding proffesions on my main because it being super obnoxious this whole xpac xD
