"Hide weapon when sheathed" - when?

Like we saw with recently added character customization options - more options is ALWAYS good. If it’s a toggle somehow, and you can choose how to carry weapons when sheathed - it’d be great to have.

I, for example, would like an option not to hide your weapons when casting spells. I know that would completely change animation of casting, but I want that nonetheless. I believe casting animations are very outdated. Perhaps they could even add a spellcast animation change depending on how close it comes to completion, like casting while holding a 2handed staff, your character slowly raises the staff as if going for a melee swing then swings it when cast goes off.

Not every class has this option.
As a Mistweaver, “technically”, I could pick a one-handed weapon and an off-hand, but this combination has the wrong stats so I’d be making myself weaker for cosmetic purposes.
Not ideal.

I believe casting animations are very outdated. Perhaps they could even add a spellcast animation change depending on how close it comes to completion, like casting while holding a 2handed staff, your character slowly raises the staff as if going for a melee swing then swings it when cast goes off.

Would definitively be cool, while we got some new casting animations which are good (orc male at least), using your staff for spells has been on the wishlist for caster players for many, many years now.

Anybody who thinks they have it rough with casting animations needs to make a male Night Elf. This one certainly does not spark joy.

I’d like the option of sheathing in different areas - but say for a rogue, yeah hiding weapons when sheathed would be great, because no good rogue would ever walk into a city with daggers on show lol.

plus it’d just be nice to have, I’d like it as a toggle on our character menu rather than a transmog option I think.

Considering how comically oversized(lol belf) some are or how absolutely bonkers some are positioned when sheathed(lol polearms).
I’d very much welcome this option
