Hiding combat log

Hey I don’t know if this is the right place to ask it but is there ANY way to get rid of the annoying combat log?

I’ve already tried this method, and it works fine but the problem is I get constant LUA errors on ElVui when I’m using this method so can’t do it like this sadly…

1 - Drag your combat log to it’s own window.
2 - Type /run ChatFrame2:Hide() - The combat log will minimize
3 - Type /run ChatFrame2Tab:Hide() - The combat log will completely disappear from sight.

Is there any other way to hide the combat log?

Why you need to remove combat log? you can’t even see it if you don’t want to.

I still see it in my chat tabs, and can’t fully see all my tabs with combat log aswell.
