Hiding Profession Tools simply not working (semi workaround found)

The Highmountain Tauren “Mahra Treebender” in the Lifepools giving us a “Toggle option” simply is broken.

the “toggle” only works once you start combat.

on one hand you want us to farm gear for professions and stack bonuses, on the other you force a 18 year old tool texture on my hip which i have to click away every moment.

just add a bloody toggle button IN the profession window , not some fringe place i have to run to and see if it works at all.

the amount of cosmetic stuff that gets forced onto characters which you have to manually click away or just suck up is infuriating.

EDIT/Semi-WORKAROUND. The Toggle NPC , Highmountain Tauren “Mahra Treebender” exists in 2 Locations , the “Ruby Life Pools” and “Forkriver Crossing” both are semi busted

Make sure to equip your tools , click away the latest outfit buff , then talk to her and toggle the text to only show while gathering. it will now “reliable hide your gather outfit” until it stops doing it for some reason then you have to fly back and retoggle … i think changing specs effects it , cant be sure still buggy as hell

Well for me it’s not even showing at all, while I want to change into the gathering/ profession equipment. And toggling on or off in Lifepools doesn’t do anything indeed.

Are you wearing any tool inside your proficiency window ? might be a dracthyr bug

Still not working ! can confirm in warmode the tools dont show at all , which i would love to if not hundreds of lvl 70 alliance rogues would prowl the questing zones the moment you turn it on.

can we just get a damn toggle and not a text option at a obscure npc ?

It’s affecting my Troll Druid as well. I have it set to “hide equipment and only show tool when gathering”, so it’s not race/class based.

And yes, just adding a toggle for each equipment/tool individually would be the easiest and most convenient solution.
