See, High Elves could be done. There are multiple different ways that they could add them to the game. Different ways of bringing in new models instead of muddling up the current system further.
These High Elf fans say they love Lore but they refuse to accept the current HE situation. Why don’t we advance it?
Imagine High Elves made of proclain and glass as their souls are returned to Azeroth into beautifully crafted artificial shells?
Maybe a segment of High Elves lives on the other side of Azeroth and have evolved to be distinct from Blood/High Elves?
What about Half-Elves? There is some great potential to see how the mixed physiology there could create something new and different yet still Elfish.
You lack the empathy to understand why the people are fighting for their own true version, you know? You could also have been just mashed into the Darkspear Troll-customization without the straight-back option.
Do you see where I get there? That’s why I don’t think you are fully aware of your own position and how unfair it is towards other players who want the same equality as you enjoy them. They’re also paying customers - but you do got exactly what you want. And while I agree that the requests can be demanding, I do hope you all can understand why they feel this way.
The problem would have never been one if the developers simply honored their requests in making the helves playable. It’s actually a disservice at this point - and I’m not really an elf-fan to begin with.
I think the best solution is what’s already being made: customization options.
We already have a ton of races in the game. People just don’t understand that adding new races just makes the balancing nightmare bigger and make people whine even more about “mah racials”.
For example: do mag’har orcs really need to be a separate race? Why not just keep the intro quest for the race and unlock mag’har as a customization option like the night warrior eyes?
Basically, better and more versatile customization is much healthier than making allied races for every single sub-race there is in the lore.
People just need to be original for once and make up their own stories for their own characters instead of requesting more and more races that end up being pointless.
Blizzard went in the right direction on making high elves a customization option instead of a new race.
Indeed!
The playerbase doesn’t have a mind of their own and can’t choose accordingly. Everyone knows that WoW’s playerbase are just bots programmed by Blizzard that have no thought or personal taste!
It’s also pretty obvious that Blizzard, as a company, doesn’t want to keep its game healthy in order to make money. They just want to make everyone Horde!
Gasp!
You got me there! You’re right… The MMORPG market is still completely thriving and there weren’t any MMORPGs that shutdown over the years. Every successful MMORPG also didn’t have any drop on its playerbase over the years or anything.
I mean, it’s not like WoW it’s still the most players MMORPG in this side of the world, right?
