Well they talking about adding so called “High Elf” to game but will it allow them to make High elf Demon Hunters aswell ?
Sin’dorei are High Elfs and they indeed can be DH.
The difference between blood elves and high elves is almost purely political. High elves are either Kirin Tor or Silver Covenant while blood elves are the people who stayed in Quel’thalas or went with Kael’thas after the Fall.
Right now, the only blood elven demon hunters we can play are the ones Illidan recruited from Kael’thas’ forces. So no high elves in their ranks at all.
However, if the new starting zone is added and DHs are included, I suppose you technically could be a Silver Covenant elf that joined up chronologically after Legion. But, their main distinguishing feature is eye colour, which, demon hunter don’t really have. So beyond RP value, how and why would you even want to be a high elf demon hunter?

High Elves left Silvermoon and got exiled because they saw draining magic of living creatures as immoral and draining demons as too far. Then got exiled because Lor’themar didnt want a divide in people to lead them.
Them taking the extreme step to become demon hunters is illogical in their morals.
Night Elves turned to Illidan because of extreme loss and vengeance.
Blood Elves (Kael’thas’ forces) turned to Illidan for more power since they were basically troops going for more power.
High Elves have absolutely no reason to do so idiologically.
