A class exclusive to elves, ghost elves, more Druid elves, Bubble elves, a team-up by a trio of elvish races to help the bubble elves, a raid taking place in an elf city, a raid taking place in an elf temple converted into a prison for space Satan’s avatar, the return of One Of The Greatest Elf Heroes Ever, two elf allied races off the bat, a ton of focus on the Night Elves, unique customisation options for Belves and Nelves (eyes), Belf heritage armour, and eel elves sharing a patch with Gnome Jensen

All while orcs haven’t missed a story beat really. Orc fatigue was real in WoD for sure, but to pretend the Horde story isn’t dominated by them - the only real belf-centric thing we got was the invasion were Blood Elves harvested a dead Loa for anima. And before this Nelves haven’t really had a great deal. Not since Firelands at least.

Wheras we had an orc in every high fidelity CG and the main Horde character was an orc.

Tauren however sorely need love, seeing as all their lore is now just Baine and little else. Miss Magatha tbqh.

Zandalari got so much stuff. They even got Bwonsamdi who was meant to be the Darkspear patron. I don’t even demand lots of Darkspear development (I do…) but if Bwonsamdi in Shadowlands is still heavily associated to the Zanda…

I haven’t played Mogi since MoP because it’s just so strange that they would remain in the faction that treated them and their ancestral homeland so, so poorly. Pandaren NPCs have been delegated to the food vendor role ever since MoP.

Just want to clarify from a lore-perspective that the blue-eyed option for Blood Elves, will still very much be for Blood Elves in lore. There are a few certain cases where a Blood Elf could have retained their original blue eye colour.

High Elves and Blood Elves are really just a political difference. However, a blue-eyed Blood Elf may look suspicious for people. Some elves might be prejudical towards them and consider them “High Elves” even though they aren’t.

To this date, the only WoW NPC to be involved in a sexual harassment scandal.

During the beta, a forum post on the “Mists of Pandaria Beta Feedback” forum sought to highlight what some saw as a form of sexism. Ji Firepaw greeted female characters saying “Hello, friend! You’re some kind of gorgeous, aren’t you? I bet you can’t keep the men off of you! Join me! You and I are going to be good friends!” To men, he instead said “Hello, friend! You’ve got a strong look to you! I bet you’re all the rage with the ladies! Join me! You and I are going to be good friends!” This form was followed by a very long discussion.

Actually maybe it’s for the best Ji stays silent.

I always like when we get more stuff about seeing the belves as integrated to and almost core to the Horde as it is now. I really enjoyed seeing them big up the Horde to the nightborne while prodding and harassing the night elves.
I’m biased because I really like belves. They are top of my ‘elves i like’ list, while helves funnily are at… the bottom… of the bottom.
