Well Aleria was treated with an honored guest in Silvermoon and they even tolerated Sylvanas… true, both of them are/were heroes - but the “common people” not really commited any crime against their Sin’dorei brethren, just not embraced a - very edgie - philopsophy and ideology
Or the other way around, the Sin’dorei not embraced the Quel’dorei point of view, beter to die as a High Elf than go against principals… But this is just a philosophical thing , fun to explore non the les…

I believe a good way to bring some ‘balance’ to Horde side would be adding Undead Elf skin to Blood Elves (I don’t mean San’layn.)
Although then, you’ll have many people playing Dark Rangers, I guess.

As far as I know that was a temporary and very sporadic practice, as it was mentioned in passing long ago before any of the insane hostility kicked off
the vast majority of smc has absolutely no reason to value and/or care about those that have not only abandoned the big qf for the alliance, but also spearheaded acts of aggression against the thalassian kingdom itself

Isn’t the playable pandaren basically a lone individal who have to decide wich side it takes on a seperate philosophical school debate on the island of a turtle kinda broke away from the mainlander pandaren?
Or the Orcs just the survivors of two wars, escaped from camps and few ship worth of refugees…?
And if my memory not playing trics on me, the Taurens are not that numerous survivors of the Centaur opression, the Darkspear Trolls who tagged alone when the orcs lost their way in a strom on their way to Kalimndor and the goblins are a few ship worth of survivors gatehred by Galywix?
The mag’har are a handful who escaped the Draenei purge via a portal… 
Even just an ear toggle on the forsaken undead. Even that.

Alleria wasn’t on the planet when the purge happened and is a famous hero.
Sylvanas likewise is a respected hero, and also the leader of the Forsaken, a crucial ally.
Neither of these are relevant to silver covenant high elves

I’m very sure you can still class yourself as a void elf but not have purple skin.
Because the void elves are a mutation. You just didn’t get the purple skin tone in your mutation when they interrupted the ritual.
But you got some void powers.

I really wish Blizzard would elaborate on whether the crux of faction-aligned pandaren NPCs are mainlanders or Isle-folk. I had a genuine crisis in WoD that the Huojin had left the Horde (after they were 0 Horde-aligned pandaren NPCs in the garrison, nor on their monument).
I’m unsure what they can even give orcs seeing as mag’har exist as a race tbqh.

Yeah, was kinda weird that they were mixed in with Shado Pan. I’ve actually casually spent the years since WoD recruiting all the pandaren followers in the game on Mogi’s garrison; I got a hozen the other week. Took me five years.

Don’t gimme that look. Over the past two expansions we’ve been given:
A class exclusive to elves, ghost elves, more Druid elves, Bubble elves, a team-up by a trio of elvish races to help the bubble elves, a raid taking place in an elf city, a raid taking place in an elf temple converted into a prison for space Satan’s avatar, the return of One Of The Greatest Elf Heroes Ever, two elf allied races off the bat, a ton of focus on the Night Elves, unique customisation options for Belves and Nelves (eyes), Belf heritage armour, and eel elves sharing a patch with Gnome Jensen.
I remember seeing Celestalon responding to comments during WoD announcement, regarding Orc fatigue after MoP and were dreading going into WoD, but damn I’m sick of elves in this game right now and want some other races to get time in the spotlight and some spoiling.
