High elves are coming, stop it!

Ok this is serious, as a high elf fan even I am getting tired of the forums. We got high elf customization and that’s as close as we can get. We actually won, but some of you are too blind to Actually see it. Instead of asking for high elf allied race which is highly unlikely, especially now. Why not ask for more hairstyle options for Void elves? A brunette or Black hair at the very least instead of the different shades of purple we have. Some posts aren’t even complaining, it’s just trolling.

Normal Dwarves will get to be Wildhammer, and yet no one complained.

Darkspear trolls will get to be sand trolls, and no one complained.

Remember, in Shadowlands we will level in a different starting zone, so maybe we can choose to be High elves or void elves.
Edit: never mind, the shadowlands starting zone doesn’t apply to Allied races.

I recommend watching this video, it explains most of the things I want say basically.

Please, another of these threads.
It’s not enough.

Until Blizzard explicitly state that the new customization will make them High Elves and not Void Elves with pink skin, High Elves are not coming and I don’t care how tired you are of the forums complaining about it.

They are Void Elves until stated otherwise.

My viewpoint is that it’s better than nothing, so at least be thankful for that.

Exactly. I wouldn’t want my High elf to have Pink or purple hair. Which is why I’m saying we should suggest to blizzard that they add Brunette or black hairstyles at the very least To void Elves, even a blonde would be nice. Along with the normal skin customization they would look exactly like high elves. and they are, in a way

And what.

An Allied race will always be more complete and better.

Those who complain because others ask are the problem, like you for example.

Ye it’s nice people can actually play that. However, let people friggin ask for the damn Allied race.

It’s not a problem to anybody. Stop being so entitled and weak.

alliance have got the compromises for too long. so no. its NOT good enough.

also @op this doesnt need new topic. 2 threads up. and tbh i doubt you’re a high elf fan, rather than a belf main larping as one

I am. As soon as they come out I’ll create one as my main character on the alliance. I’ve been a fan of them since Wrath when I saw them in Dalaran

We need more elves as much as we need more crabs.

Just to be clear: It’s not confirmed yet that these are actual High Elves. I know, we can see them strolling around but as long as nobody actually confirms it from the development team, they are still belves from the introduction quest-line.

And let’s wait and see how the rest of the customization will look like for them.

I hope that Blizzard will never make a cheap trash like allied races ever again. Current ARs should be remade into customizations for current races. Only Vulpera is a new race.

ZT/Vulp/KT are actually well done. The rest not so much.

That I agree with. I guess we have to wait and see

High elf players will never be happy because the ultimatum which it boiled down too for them to get their equivalent of high elves was not what Blizzard or they wanted to do, so they ended up giving them it as a customisation instead and well since the high elf players still fail to be happy about getting it finally most of them still demand more as compensation of not getting it as a stand alone playable race but instead getting a compromise and now its “wah, my elves dont look unique enough.”

This is the whole issue. When did the Horde got their last race “compromise”? I have read a discussion about the Mag’har Orcs. Not only got they for the Durotar Orcs the straight backs as a feature, they even added three heritage armors and 4-5 skin colorizations (= clans).

I think Blizzard can do a bit better with the new velf-options. This was a good start but at least the hair colors needs to be addressed.

Highly agree. If I wanted a Purple haired elf, I would create a night elf. Void elves lack customization even with the new skin and eye colors. It’s the hairstyle that needs more stuff.

Don’t you think we have more than enough long eared, fair skinned generic elves? Cause I do, its so boring :sleepy: seeing all people want is new renditions of the same kinda race which is already in the game…its getting as bad as the elder scrolls with how many playable races are so generic mundane races there are.
