Whenever somebody offers you information to the contrary from far more recent times - you trace back to citing something from 2001 from the warcraft.wiki. So we’re stuck and locked in a loop, where any presence of High Elves in the lore or world is trumped by “umm, they’re actually dead because a 2005 forum moderator said so, along with a 2001 novel”. Did you spend any time in an academic environment - where more recent sources are better regarded?

You call for non toxic environment and to be friends.
You were presenting yourself long ago as someone who was being always attack for who you are! Yet you cannot act civilized on the forum.

So - as OP - what are the reasons, valid reason, why High Elves should be separate playable race (others who support this feel free to elaborate).

As I stated before - I am all for adding new customizatons or expanding the story to cover the addition of High Elves. But I want your statement why it should happen.

Sometimes I think the easiest move would be to rename existing elves to Quel’dorei and make them playable on both factions.

All of them would start in Eversong Woods at level 1.
By completing some storyline you would be offered to further play as:

• og Quel’dorei (chosing Horde or Alliance as allegiance for further development, similar to Pandaren, with specific high elven customization, mounts, armor)
• Sin’dorei - Horde - with their specific customization option only for Sin’dorei (with own heritage armor, mounts)
• Ren’dorei - Alliance - with specific customization option only for Ren’dorei (again own heritage and mounts)

There are options how to make this possible, but adding another separate allied race is not the way.

The storyline mentioned above can be clearly designed as pre destrucion Quel’thalas culminating in story of Arthas attacking Quel’thalas and destorying the Sunwell.
