High Elves in 12.1 💙

its a retcon

the “blood elves” names came before that retcon
the blood elves name came before any magic extraction from Fel’ or even reaching the outland.

and this name was taken by the high elves of quel’thalas

So this is what fanfic fanbases look like in WoW format.

A few high elves rejoined the Alliance in recent years, but the Alliance as a whole remains somewhat suspicious of high elves to this day, as their secession after Second War left bitter memories. Furthermore, the night elves, who became part of the Alliance during the Third War, saw it as their duty to warn their new allies against the high elves. The Highborne’s part in bringing about the War of the Ancients figured heavily in the night elves’ retelling of high elf history.

After “Chicken for KFC” we have “High Elves for the Alliance” :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

In the following years, relations between the humans and the elves began to sour. The quel’dorei, who had been reluctant members of the Alliance in the first place, retained little interest or investment in its affairs, such as upkeeping the internment camps and defending Nethergarde Keep, but that was as much from their fascination with all magic as from any desire to help humans. Slowly, they began to doubt the value of the Alliance, as humanity seemed to need the high elves, but had little to offer in return. High King Anasterian himself felt betrayed by the Alliance’s retreat to Capital City during the war, which left the elves to deal with the rampaging Amani trolls alone. The elven king claimed that the Alliance had abandoned Quel’Thalas in its darkest hour, and while not all of the high elves agreed with him, enough did. When he withdrew his nation from the Alliance, the official stance was that the humans’ poor leadership resulted in the burning of Eversong Woods; in addition, with Lothar dead and the Horde defeated, the king believed that the debt to Thoradin and his descendants was repaid. While King Terenas Menethil II reminded them that nothing of Quel’Thalas would have remained if not for the hundreds of humans that gave their lives to defend it, the majority of the elven race still shut themselves inside their enchanted kingdom, with a few exceptions.

Under whos order did they take that name and did that say every single high elf agreed with that decision and changed it?

Meaning, there were noone who opposed it.

Your attack is more based around “there is no existing high elf in the game anymore, they are all called blood elf, live with it.”

Under son of the King Anasterian Sunstrider, leader of the high elves.

Aka Kael’thas Sunstrider

absolutely not.

I recently made a list of ~ 450 names for male and female thalassian name. I traveled around all azeroth and old content + TCG card.

I can tell you that there is even not 5% of high elves, lorewise.

Well i don’t care about elfs at all in fact we could cull some of them right now and i would not even notice one bit.

If 90% of your country decides to take a name, do that mean the 10% who did not would start calling themselves the name of the new country even if they dont live there? Or do you believe they would keep calling themselves what they believe they are?

Yes its call

Democracy

Thanks for making me laugh.

You basically say the other 10% needs to accept they are something they are not or not exist at all.

Fact is : There is no High Elves nation but Sin’dorei

the elves you re thinking about are rebel mercenaries who serve humans.

Not as nation but as group of people. They are outcasts.

The point you made is kinda irrellevant not all high elves became blood elves and that is a fact.

WoW needs age of sigmar event at this point. Get rid of everything and start anew. We have too much everything. Too many mounts too big world too many races too many everything.

Thank you Miss Obvious

fact is : there is no High elves nation, No High Elves leader.

Vereesa is even not the High Elven nation, just leader of the terrorist group called silver covenant

Auric is another leader, not the leader of the silver covenant.

etc etc

They are rebels mercenaries, not a nation.

Even void elves have leader as “nation”

Ok so you agree that you are wrong that is a step in the right direction.

Which even void elves are. Thanks for making sure they can still use the name “high elf” but as an allied race then.

Its funny that you went so hard that they “only exist as blood elf” but then changed it to “there are some but they are not a nation” which im quite sure void elf would be.

Personally, I dont care if they add high elf or not. I just want more customizations to my belf/velf brethrens.

I never said “there is no rebel who are not outcast, then all former HE became BE”

It wont happen.

Lore aside.

There is technically zero reason to add HE because they are now in 2025 100% the same race as blood elves.

every single racial skill fit 100% to actual HE and BE
Is there any single reason to give other racial skill than these ones ? Absolutely not.

blizzard ll not copy past a race.

secondly.

They will never add playable HE because :

  1. This will mean that Blizzard admit they did a mistake in 2007 - They won’t do that

  2. This will mean that " :turtle: was right to add them as playable and copy :turtle: is better than keep the control of their proprety about lore" - They won’t do that

  3. This will mean that Ion retrospectively lied and admit he cant keep control of their own lore focus and kneel before crying child whims

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qcykaEaXfP4&pp=ygUOSW9uIGh1Z2ggZWx2ZXM%3D

They won’t do that

Let go you will feel better in time when it happens.

If you can only see from your own perspective, then sure. Whatever. Nothing what you have posted since ive replied have told me that they “cannot” do it.

Both of these are also wrong.

  1. They can very easily put a story about the high elves in the silver covenant wanting to be a bigger part of Alliance. Its very easy to do for them but like I said, personally dont care.
  2. Also wrong. They dont need to copy paste anything from Twow.
  3. “Anything is possible in the future”… Thank you for posting that video. He directly replied that they are technically blood elves. If you listen later he also said “Anything is possible in the future”.

Stop modify my words, be respectful with your debate opponent.

They dont need to copy paste anything from Twow.

never said that

  1. “Anything is possible in the future”… Thank you for posting that video.

listen the end of the video tho
