High latency and lag

Hello,

I’ve seen on the eu and us forums that this is not a new issue, but I would like to know if this is happening to other people as well rn. About a week ago i started to experience really high latency that often makes the game unplayable. I’ve noticed that the world latency in particular gets insanely high (15000 ms), especially when there are other players around. This is something that started suddenly, I wasn’t experiencing this before. Things I’ve already tried/checked:

1. turning down graphic settings to see if it was a graphic issue. It is not, it’s the same at low settings (also the lag is the typical “internet” lag, with people walking in place, spells that are delayed by a lot when casted etc…)

2. update every driver

3. try with multiple different connections (hotspot, VPN, different Wi-Fi)

4. Scan and repair

5. check for conflicts with firewall

None of this solved the issue. The problem Is limited to wow, other games work fine and internet works fine for everything else.

Has anyone had luck solving this? Is anyone else experiencing this?

i have problem long days ago. i fixed this tip

1. Completely exit World of Warcraft.
2. Uninstall any addon managers to make sure they don’t re-add your removed addons.
3. In the Blizzard Battle.net desktop application, click Options (the cogwheel next to Play button) and select Show in Explorer (Windows®) or Reveal in Finder (Mac®).
4. Open the World of Warcraft® folder.
5. Open the folder for the game version you’re troubleshooting (retail, classic_era, or classic)
6. Rename the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders to CacheOld, InterfaceOld, and WTFOld.
7. Re-launch World of Warcraft so the changes can take effect.
