Please have a look into this troubleshooting page in here, and go through the steps that are mentioned. Hopefully that will help out!
One thing maybe to check, and it’s just an idea… check if it’s the Home or World latency that is high, because if the Home and World pings are high then it’s likely to do with your ISP and bandwidth, if it’s only the world then it’s a server side issue. Also another thing to consider is what country you’re from and the location of the server you use - the further you are away the higher your ping will spike.
