Same problem as yesterday, blizzard net engs are unable and should be immediately be fired, this problem is just nuts. You are clueless, and should be fired! I demand free gameplay time for the following months as this problem persists through this expansion.
Network engineers should be fired immediately!!!
Hi, is your ISP vodafone or is your ISP using vodafone’s infrastracture? There seems to be a correlation in this.
You can try to be more polite about it but yes even for me the ability to play and enjoy the game has been seriously hindered. Seems to be an issue between Vodafone and Blizzard.
This mess can only happen by human error, and because its a big company, they should have reviews etc in gitlab, more than 1 involved!
Which means, i don’t care who is responsible, fire even the Chief of Technology Dept.
This seems to be a Vodafone issue so Blizzard can’t do anything about it - again, appearing to be the ISP issue and not Blizzard. A lot of people are being affected by this, specially this weekend, so hopefully it will be addressed/fixed asap.
Of course, just fire somebody, who cares if he actually has anything to do with the issue
I truly hope that people like yourself that demand such actions also wind up on the receiving end of such complete lunacy at some point in their lives.
No, it´s an issue between Vodafone and Vodafone. Blizzard has zero influence on what peering solutions some cheapass substandard ISP chooses to make.
Are you a neteng of blizzard?
Do you think obvious trolling is going to make your case more valid? have fun with that.
To answer your question, No. But I am a rational human being that understands the difference between an ISP and a game developer, as well as where the individual responsibilities lie.
You want a Blizzard employee fired for an issue that is completely out of Blizzard´s control.
Do you also demand for cashiers at your local supermarket to be fired because you bought the wrong shampoo? Same thing, different industry.
Because if it were an actual Blizzard engineering issue, EVERYONE would have the problem, not just people that think spending <10€ /month on a provider that has been for over 20 years is enough to have a quality internet connection.
Who mentioned game developers? did i mention the word dev to ? I dont think so, learn to read first and second if you dont have any idea of how big companies and what depts they have, just look forward to read only!!! because you are no official of blizzard to come in here, and say whatever u think you have to say.
Do you also think you sound smart? i dont think so mr justice warrior.
Fyi, i pay 40€ /month on my ISP, call that cheap. So again in here, it shows you dont have the bigger picture and the ability to understand what’s going on.
Just go somewhere else, and yes they should be fired!
Do you actually read what you post?
You said
and then
Get a grip on reality, and a clue about how the internet works, Mr high and mighty.
Furthermore, you don´t have the right or authority to tell me, or anyone else what they can and can´t post. You are NOTHING, except a petty little kid who´s mad that people that understand reality disagree with him.
I wont be bothered to explain the diffs…
as i said go somewhere else.
No, I won’t. Bite me.
Or even better, grow up, man up, and deal with reality.
It is not a routing problem but a two-hop problem in the blizzard infrastructure.
Do some tests and you can read you realise that the problem is in 80.249.208.83 and 137.221.78.35.
The firs one is on lease from AMS-IX to blizzard the second one is in the inside of blizzard’s infrastructure so it’s up to blizzard to fix not ISPs, let’s not spread fake news.

Although I agree with you in regards to OP, you’re also simplifying things and making general comments about an ISP that aren’t completely true as well.
How good an ISP is isn’t measured by what’s happening currently to what looks like a lot of people, that are smaller than a drop of water in all the people they provide services to. This appears to be an ISP issue for sure, but you have some posts saying it is, and some saying it’s not - not this post though. The reality is we don’t know as neither party are conveying proper feedback regarding this situation. We don’t know if something is wrong with their usually routing services for instance. So this is isn’t as cut and dry as you’re trying to make it look - and again, I also believe it’s their issue.
Now as for what I assume you mentioning Vodafone is crap, maybe that’s your experience, and it can be a valid one. Regardless, it’s not my experience, being with them for a few years now and this is the first time I experience this issue, assuming and believing it’s their problem. Also, this is just happening in WoW for me, and for a lot of people, so it’s unfair to say their service as a whole is crap just for that, particularly because at this point in time nobody can say with 100% degree certainty that the issue is only on their side - although I get that if you’re the type of person that pays an ISP just to game WoW, you would feel like that.
Summing up, you both need to chill =)
Again not vodafone fault…
The problem is outside the ISP routing and inside blizzard’s one…
I have just talked with Vodafone, claiming at least its not their fault.
Find me a blizz representative.
I mentioned that it appears to be, didn’t say it was for sure. I say this because all the people I talk to (guildies mostly) are Vodafone and only they appear to have this issue. Now to be fair, I’m far from a networks expert, so… XD
My main point was more for both the OP and the other guy to chill a bit as they’re escalating things meaninglessly over a game and internet comments LOL
Not only Vodafone, I don’t have Vodafone and I have the same problem.
As I said the problem is in the hops/nodes I mentioned and is something well known by blizzard with dozens of posts on this forum if you go digging.
I would also like to add that I opened a ticket in game and the GMs said that indeed there is something abnormal in the tests I performed and to open a post here on the forum and to wait for Blue to take note of it and for the relevant department to act to solve the problem.
I saw your post and bumped it (just in case XD)
Yeah I think that you should clarify that your ISP isn’t Vodafone because a lot of people here are thinking that the issue is on Vodafone side.
