Having the same issues, it randomly spikes up to 200ms for several seconds while twitch etc. have no problems. Not even online latency checks trigger and WoW is the only game with those issues.
I am talking to the local ISP now. For sure, they proposed to buy 300 Mbit/s plan first, saying it solves all issues. Then they said, they would investigate an issue.
I get the same issues, after 8pm it’s unplayable. Mine is a connection issue to one of Blizzards addresses: xe-0-0-1-br01-cthz1.blizzardonline.net, my ISP claim there’s nothing wrong their side and I assume Blizzard ill say the same.
Everything else works perfectly for me however. All other games including OW2, YouTube, Twitch, Discord. It’s really weird.
I understand peak times can cause higher ms but not to the point where it’s unplayable and freezes for 3-10 seconds. It’s purely unplayable.
Same, only happens with wow and massive packet loss on:xe-0-0-1-br01-cthz1.blizzardonline.net, after 7-8 pm is getting worse, at the night time is no problem here.
Yea, same here my connection just keeps getting worse over time especially in instances. (World ping only, my home ping stays at 100ms or close to), And looking at WinMTR it shows 2 points with host not reached and a 100% loss. This is just making me not wanna play the game, doubly so as I am playing from EU to US E with a couple of friends and having to suffer horrendous lag that goes into 1k+ ms
I’m from the UK to those wondering. So many players have this issue, though I seem to be the only one in my Guild that does which is weird. I have opened a support ticket with all my information, perhaps you guys do the same. This needs to be resolved or I will just stop playing altogether.
