High World MS is back again

Browser, speed test, any other games works just fine without any issues, but my world MS is 550. It’s been an issue that appeared since last weeks wednesday until you restarted the servers Saturday. now the issue is back.

I’ve had the same issue all week. Tried resetting router and flusing dns, nothing worked.

There is something not ok with their servers. Guild bank opening and sending mail takes realy long time right now (not all the time). Week ago there were realy long loading screen also. It’s been fine for about a week or so and now it’s bad again.

Same for me. Im not in EU but i normally had around 130-140ms latency on world and home a few months ago. Came back from SoCal and now im getting 3000+ on both making the game totally unplayable. and this is with Gigabit and a high end PC so its 110% on their end.

Just did a Uldaman M+, everything was fine until we started Emberon when my game suddenly froze about 5 seconds.
From there and onwards I had random freeze lag spikes.

I usually have a stable 7 ms ping but now it was about 560 ms, until the run was done and I ported to Valdrakken.
In Valdrakken I immediately got my 7 ms back and game running normally.

I’ve been logged on since 3 a.m. last night grinding in Mechagon and it’s been normal. Everything else on my pc is running normally.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I had the same problem in M+ and Aberrus but then it was fine again until now.

This is the result I get from running PingPlotter.

Having the same issue: I play on EU realms from US location and normally have approximately 100ms, but suddenly yesterday have bounced up to 3000+ ms world ping that might dip to 250 at absolute best. It makes competitive M+ impossible. Please help, Blizz!

The same situation for me I’m from Canada, at one point on Sarkareth the fight is 2 min late, the first time since 2007 that I have a problem like this, with or without addon, speed test is ok!

same situation just now. High ping, disconnects and it also causes frame stutters.
Fix your god damn game…

Maintenance today sadly didn’t help.
Severe latency spikes and packet loss on several blizzard ips.
Leading to mailbox/guild bank lag quite often.

sometimes long loading screens into a dungeon and lag spikes inside the dungeon.
i guess reports aren’t stacking up because it’s not a “constant” problem but comes in spikes…

I’m having the same problem but it seems to come and go. Thought I’d check here before I went off on my ISP and surprise surprise…

was hoping the reset would help but i guess not. EU just isn’t playable anymore for me.

After this week maintenance was everything fine - low latency, no mail or guild bank delays untill today. It’s bad again. I would love to hear a word from Blizzard what is happening. Is this new standard right now? Few days of stable servers and rest of the week not? It’s like that from about 5 weeks and they not said a single word here.

Same issue, I play from Japan on EU servers.
Normally my ping is stable at 250ms, but recently it’s often above 350ms and sometimes it goes up above 3000 and stays there.

Chat still works fine, but AH and guild bank don’t open or sometimes I cannot login at all.

use a VPN and set to EU.
I’m at 250 using express, and 400-500 without it.
Before the maintenance, Used to be at 220 without a VPN at all though so Blizz need to pull their finger out and fix something…

i normally play with 8ms ping having 1000mps internet speed. Especially in the evening getting 1000+ ms latency issues. Dalaran disconnects me.

Same issue. It comes and goes and seems completely random.

  • Tried no addons
  • Flush DNS
  • Reset Router
  • Updated addons
  • Issue happens on 2 different computers on the same network, different accounts.

Same issue, thought blizzcon was promising and to give classic seasons a try. Played first evening in a few years and immediately am disappointed by having 700+ms.
Latency clearly starts on the route towards Blizzard infrastructure at the AE11 hop:

185.8.179.34 - 0 | 244 | 244 | 8 | 12 | 80 | 9 |
| 185.100.113.153 - 1 | 241 | 240 | 9 | 13 | 81 | 12 |
| ae11_milano58_mil_seabon_net - 11 | 174 | 156 | 277 | 384 | 530 | 418 |
| blizzard_milano58_mil_seabone_net - 8 | 190 | 176 | 280 | 380 | 524 | 426 |

After that there are 10 more hops before it reaches the server, only they know why. I made a support ticket but i’m not expecting much of a resolution or response.

I had the same problems, but ‘maybe’ yesterday it was a problem related to the Italian infrastructure as all providers had problems, TIM more than others, we will see if today and tomorrow with the patch there will be improvements…
