Yes, if you are the one fishing out the rare you will get a 100% chance for the mount it drops (I got mine).
But this beautiful Aurelid, drops a few more goodies, all of which are locked to specific classes and specs to look thanks to the wonders of personal loot. Like that 1 handed liquid-light-saber.

So I believe that at some point the players need to be able to get extra aurelid lures from Vashj or this mob could turn to be a really frustrating one down the road once most people got their mounts and are done with fishing up this mob.

Yeah that one makes no sense to me either, it’s a chore to get the lure already , why not let folks fish it up once a day/week or sth like that for instance

Hurikon Rare Question

Hi, I have already Created the Lure, fished up Hurikon and gotten the Mount last week. I read on WoWhead that Lady Vashj can give you a new Lure each week (until you get the mount). But there are other items I want from the boss (i.e Transmog). It seems the Lure is in great demand in LFG tool. So is it possible to get Lady Vashj to keep giving you a Lure each week? Or even Daily for that matter. Seems strange that they would expect us to fish up another rare 1:1500 item again and again. Anyo…

If (for whatever reasons) you don’t get the mount, you can ask Lady Vashj for another Lure the following week (according to WoWhead). But once you get the mount, you can’t get any more Lures from Lady Vashj (it seems).

Luckily for me though, I happened to be in the area today when someone pulled the Rare, and I got the Sword as a drop. So it’s not an issue for me anymore.

However, I do agree this will become an issue for players in the future who just want the Rare achievement.

That seems like a pretty big oversight by the designer in charge of that decision.

it was too hard to care and design drops/quests with players in mind. so this is just another FOMO design to increase MAUS at this patch

Yeh, I was a bit shocked today when I went to get one and I couldn’t.

I don’t know if it involves fishing up another Gloop… but since I had the Mount already, there was no way I was going to do that again.

But it would have been useful to be able to summon the Rare again, for my daily/weekly rare kills.

Since it was only a low drop rate for players without the Lure, it’s not like we would be selling Summons.
