When season 2 started tried to play some solo shuffle. But suddenly i have teleported to another game with many wizards spamming spells at me any explanation?
And why ret got nerfed after 5 days after rework and boomies and sub rogues untouched?
One reason Ret got nerfed because it could take off 60% of peoples HP in one hit, on top of 1min burst.
I don’t see casters hitting for 400k in season 2 with one ability. Although if you do see one of these mythical 400k abilities come at you - press spell warden.
As much as destro and boomy are in desperate need of nerfs, Ret remains one of, if not the, strongest melee specs in solo shuffle so I wouldn’t be crying too much about the state of Ret.
Last season got to 2000 without breaking sweat on season 2 run into wizards barely won 1 out of 6
Because melees were broken in DF S1. There were plenty of DHs reaching 2800 ratings and higher with the highest exp. of 1400 in the 3x3 bracket before this Solo shuffle queue existed.
In a lobby full of wizzards, ret is just a punching bag
the other day a destruction slytherin casted avadacadavra on me for 222k while in D stance with 37% vers
thank goodness we nerfed skullsplitter so that warriors cant hit ppl for 50% of their hp with power infusion and dark arch after 5 gcds of setup
ret is pretty mid of the pack as far as melee DPS goes. Enh, feral, WW and Sub are all better. Mid of the pack as a melee is bottom third overall as DPS specs go this season.
ret doesn’t need buffs though - everything above it more or less needs a damage nerf, notably boomkin, destro, demo, probably affliction too, spriest, ele, frost mage and fire mage. As far as wizards go its pretty much just arcane that isn’t outright broken and devastation which either does 1million dmg in 2 gcds, or nothing for an entire round.
its about on par with fury and havoc right now and is better than assa/outlaw, frost/unholy.
but yeah, its a wizard season and we’re just living in it
