Holy Aggrend! Berny just looted a Recipe: Flask of Supreme Power!

Now Berny can make some gold producing these and be of great help to friends who need one for cheap.

Classical wow is great thanks to these rare items. Nothing is guaranteed, but if a super rare item drops, the feeling is amazing. Since only a few other people from the Alliance have the recipe, Berny is now an important asset for every raid and could help the guild too.

Such items not only feel special but create interactions between playas.

WAIT, everyone can BUY it now? But how?

Just grind for 2 weeks and everyone has everything. Then new raid comes out. Grind for 2 weeks and everyone has everything. There be no point, mon.

Its a seasonal server to try stuff, Not a real server! Things should come faster

Better than having only 2 alchi on a server having them and seeing the flask at 300g+ per unit.

Some people want fresh vanilla servers, no changes. I wouldn’t play vanilla again even if paid to do it.

Now, while I wish SoD did more original content (Demonfall Canyon was excellent, we need more like it and less like the extra boss in MC) the coins are a perfect solution for the seasonal nature of the server.

It gives geared characters a reason to do 5 man content and fresh 60s can gear and not suffer in a barren wasteland looking for people to run dungeons.

The badge system from TBC was, and still is the most time considerate and fair system to ever greet WoW, it is bad luck protection and only harcore gamblers or silly people would dislike it.

Now if only we got the wrath tabard/rep grind system going… then things would be golden.

But Señorsengo, ya be an honorable mon. Berny has to disagree.
Just because SoD is seasonal, doesn’t mean SoD has to suck.
And if SoD is not a real server, then why is Berny being charged to test stuff. :dracthyr_shrug:

Fake News! Never happened in SoM or 2019, and this time everymon was level 50 ready to jump into dungeons.

Ofc it shouldn’t be available for only 1-2 people on server (as devilcore patterns), but also it shouldn’t be available to literally everyone. A lot of people running dungeons right now and there are enough of those recipes drop. Just adding this to coin vendor is the most stupid idea. Or make its price significantly higher then just 50 coins.

Well the thing is, the devs can’t please everyone. If they didn’t do that, you’d have a massive whine about the low drop-rate of those flask recipes and how RNG ruins the game because they’d farm the dungeon a hundred time and no drop.

No offense to the OP but it’s clear the guy is only whining because he actually looted it and hoped he could sell it for 2k gold. Well though luck, you saved yourself 10 dungeons run but that’s it, you didn’t win the lottery.

There are plenty of things to change and improve in SoD but this bad luck protection isn’t one of them, at least imho.

Berny didn’t loot anything, didn’t even farm the recipe or do any dungeons.

Berny is trying to spread the message if everyone has everything then nothing is special.

Mate, you’re title is “Bernie just looted a recipe”…
You’re bummed, I get it but come on… Let’s stop being selfish here and think about game balance overall before personal gain.

The real Bernie would want the means of flask production to belong to the people.

Berny is right.

SoD reeks of communism.

All shall be equal.

Why make priest racials universal?

Why make gnome recipes available for goblins and vice versa? What is the point of picking a specialisation if you can make the best recipes of the competitor just as easy??

Capitalism will triumph.
