Anyone else notice that the belt book that comes with the Holy Artifact skins removes an existing 3D detail from the equipped belt?
Kinda annoys me cos now my Tauren Paladin looks like he is running around in speedos and it’s very distracting
I think its good that its part of the transmog, since you are losing the shield look, but getting a belt instead. If you are opting to use the Silver Hand look, you should keep in mind that you will get a “belt” as well.
The belt might still show from your side and back if its small enough, but the front of the belt is replaced by the libram.
Well the book is fine, really. The book is the belt. The issue is that the book removes any other detail on the belt. Take the Tauren Heritage armour - the bulky belt and loincloth disappear and are replaced by the book.
Try it out yourself with maybe the Death Knight set belt from Nighthold or the Antorus Warrior set belt? Any belt with a 3D model - replaced by a book.
I’d have preferred if the book appeared alongside the original 3D belt model

I think that comes from the limitation of the transmog system. If you are wearing a belt that has a 3D portion then using a tabard of any kind cuts off the lower part of the tabard itself.
