I personally dont like the shadow effect on an alliance priest as I play it mainly as a healer for “rp-reasons”. I would love if we could have a glyph that removes the shadow effect around the character completely. Ofc this wouldnt work in pvp.
Another option is to make couple of changes in the holy talent tree where you can change couple of healing skills for an aoe damage and little bit more damage. Not to make holy a dps class, but just make it little bit more fun/viable while leveling?
well the first idea wouldnt work bc shadowform is also a lore thing, if u play a shadow priest u are a shadowpriest, there shouldnt be a way around it. u wouldnt say u want to transmog plate on your priest bc u rp a warrior on your priest either, that makes no sense. if u wann rp a holy, play holy.
second one would be interesting but i guess its difficult to do bc u cant balance that for raids and m+, even if u dont even want to use it for that. other people would
For me the rp and immersion is all about shadow. This means I’d prefer not to flash heal or shield . If I was all about the Light and healing, going shadow to do dps or level would hurt. So I’d like it if I could have e…g. “Glyph of Dark Heal” or “Glyph of Shadow Shield.”
Is the answer Discipline? More damage for levelling but still holy/light themed?
We’ve been screaming for an invisible shadow form glyph for a decade, and a classic shadow form since that broke. I think a lot of players want the option, yet no response.
But hey, it might happen.
I like shadowform, but the lack of options make me appreciate it less. The current glyph effect is VERY weak.
for me, it’s not a matter of rp or not, i like to see my character in the clear, at least i mean, as a personal option
any glyph or object to make it completely clear
If they won’t make it optional, I think it needs design work to allow transmogs to show better. Moonkin glyph of stars will always be my go-to example. You retain clear details on your character and there’s only a mild particle effect. Something that has that degree of effect would be acceptable.
