Hey folks, I just need to vent for a moment.
What Blizzard is doing with healer balance this expansion is honestly outrageous. Iāve been playing Holy since Vanilla ā Iāve seen good times, bad times, and everything in between. But whatās happening right now? Itās beyond ridiculous.
Holy is so underrepresented and unbalanced that I get rejected by 98% of groups just because of my spec. Not my skill, not my gear, not my experience ā just the spec. Thatās not just frustrating, it feels like discrimination at this point.
Weāre not asking to be overpowered. We just want a fair shot to play the game we love without being punished for choosing a healing style weāve stuck with for decades.

Meta slaves are slaves to the meta, this is nothing new. But yes, the rework hasnāt had a significant impact on our viability because it just shuffled stuff around rather than addressing our issues, like chronic overhealing and lack of mobility.
Not much you can do, other than avoiding pugs and joining a guild.

For +10s and above youāre screwed as an HPriest, but I have no trouble being accepted to anything else. People are always desperate for healers and as long as I keep quiet and no one dies, they can keep on thinking Iām Disc. You couldnāt pay me to play that spec. Holy for life baby.
As for my Afflic lock it is honestly funny that no one checks my spec beforehand, people always assume Destro like the other two donāt exist. Have been invited to some groups and then kicked immediately lol.

BUT now they can check before hand ā¦ so we get declined or kicked if they realise after invite ā¦
reason why i dont bother with pve, pvers are just too obnoxious to deal with, they can have 0 score and 0 gear and still want a meta healer to carry them idk

The reason why most players chooses pvping instead of PvE is because PvP is basicly free loot and much faster then PvE
Y OR they play the key since they dont realize and if ANYTHING goes wrong they just blame u for being hpriest.
PPl get used to cheat with disc and his double-life shield. dont use defs. play like garbage. dont take hpots in 15keys.
next season will be interessting when ppl are no more using defs. OR they just boost disc again like they already did with that āfake-nerfā. And then the big cry starts. āgame too hardā.
