Not really worth to spend your time on or even worth to lvl up…
They are good in the beginning of lvl 60 but the further you go the higher your gear gets, you can’t keep up with other healing specs.
deffences are bad or to short in most cases.
Some GCD are to long and could be shortened…BY A LOT imo…
It’s not wanted by any groups for Mid range M+
RPvP it’s under performing/ not enough utility to survive and you will be the first to be targeted by the enemy team. + hard to find groups/teams… again…
In raids this is a good healer but still you will be last in the HPS meters with other healers on the same ilvl or even lower ilvl but HPS is still decend-ish…
If you want to heal don’t waste your time on HOLY Priest just lvl up gear up another class because H priest SUX!
I leveled a disc priest but started out as holy. I saw a few holy priests with high ilvl in sinfall and talked to them. They did heroic CN. I switched to disc yesterday and I thought holy was fun but disc is over 9000. In M+ 15 there are 4600 disc priests but still 1600 holy priests which I didn’t expect. Did 10 dungeons on holy to gear up and I must say I was a resto shaman with M+ experience and never have I had to much fun healing. Now as disc I’m still learning the ropes but I’ll switch back to holy once in a while just for fun. Asked on reddit if holy is viable and there are actually people raiding heroic as holy and doing fine.
Holy is currently, from what I hear, the worst raid healer, and shares the spot of “undesirable” for M+ and PvP with Mistweaver.
It’s still viable though, everything is, you’d just not pick a Holy priest if literally any other class except MW also wanted to come.
