for raid disc is not as fun as holy in my opinion because all you really do is stack atonements 
but for M+ i really disc

Disc is a really busy spec, so much to predict, so much to do, so many buttons to mash -especially in m+ - meanwhile holy is its laidback sister.
The way holy plays out is almost therapeutic.

This… Disc has a million worthless buttons and even has to apply Atonement. Would be better if instead of enabling healing, it only increased healing and my spells would proc atonement heals baseline on 3 injured allies.
Don’t get me started on the readded PWS cooldown too.
And if you haven’t the Atonement up on those who take damage… too bad. You can’t start healing aoe damage right away. I could be arguing that I have Radiance. Radiance, which has a hefty cost. If I keep it up on a party of 5 all the time, I run dry with mana. And as we know, people won’t care about incoming damage as “the healer will take care of it anyways” so you won’t really be able to stay put for 20 seconds.
As for holy? Tank takes a big damage spike and I do a rotational Serenity, combined with angel wings and do a giant 300k instant heal crit with a giga hot.
As for damage. Chastise, Holy Fire, multidot, then spam nova. I don’t even bother multidotting on 8+ enemies unless I need mana returns from Throes of Pain. You could add in mindgames and SWD for raids, still easy.

i agree with this analysis
Fun is subjective. One might find simple playstyle of pushing few buttons and seeing numbers fun, others might find fun complexity and depth.
I am now not talking about the actual tuning disc vs holy has. I personally find disc way more fun. It needs some pruning, as the number of abilities we have to use is getting out of hand, but the base playstyle is fun. Holy on the other hand is just a basic healer, who, well, just heals. Nothing bad about it, but it does not have to be considered fun, especially when you have several other healers which does the same.
Question IS Do you use RENEW AS DISC TALENT?

You might use it to apply atonements when the movement is required and PW:S is on CD, like when your group is moving in between the pulls. You definitely does not use it to heal, which is a shame.
