Again, no. It got changed from healing 10% of target’s health, bypassing MW effects into simple 50% buff on Mending’s healing. Difficult to discuss the game, when you don’t have knowledge about it.
That’s unviable strategy.
That’s like saying if Rdruid were having a PvP talent that would’ve removed Kidney Shot from rogue, that it’d be fine, just rely on healer’s CC.
It’d literally kill the spec on the spot.

Not his point. Holy priest is the hardest healer in the game to CC. You can’t say ‘just get your healer to go for CC’. You clearly don’t play the game if this is genuinely your perception of it.
In 3s, hpriests tend to wanna time their CC with their teammates. If you get 'em to mess up the timing by running in while still controlling the theater, it’s not an issue. When ward is the thing standing in your way, then trade the insignificant CC to get rid of it to clear the path. Also, gfade and fear still got CDs longer than a lot of CC in the game.
I chilled in S1 SL due to RL and reached 2.6k in S2 with my Twink priest. Since i already obtained Glad i helped my friend and for some reason (rating inflation) we reached the 2.7k in like 50 games.
I cba‘d the 2 missing wins because i don‘t need double glad and we reached our goal.
The next time try to research in a correct way (all my alts are on check-pvp), and my rating has nothing to do with this conversation.

I am saying that removing core CC ability from a class hurts them a lot and can’t be dismissed with “let the other person do it instead for them”.
If you were to remove Kidney Shot from Rogue, their healer could CC for them instead.
Sure. You’d be right they can do it.
But it’d literally drop them from best Melee to worst Melee.
That’s how influential it is to have your own CC to set up own kills and peel.

Turned out I was right, you were wrong and Renew isn’t mentioned.

Most holy priests play psychic voice. Meaning fear is a 30 second cooldown. Please tell me how many CC’s in this game are shorter than this?

Except Kidney isn’t the same as Sturm bult. Kidney is a major CC, sturm is a lesser. Because of the differences in CD and durations.
A better comparison would be if you put a 30s cd on cheap shot.

Yes, it’s single target, the same short duration, and long CD. It’s a lesser CC.
4 second single target stun is not a short duration.
30 second CD on storm bolt is not a long cd.
