I’ll be honest, I did get frustrated earlier in the thread and I probably did word things in a curt, rude, and dismissive way, and I do owe an apology for that. But at the same time, you’re not stupid. You don’t have poor intentions, and I don’t think you’re a malicious person. Which made it all the more infuriating when it seemed like every effort was being made to avoid seeing eye-to-eye at any cost.

There’s an incredible level of naivety going on, in the strange refusal to accept the perspective of homosexual people on the topic of homophobia. You’d think that the LGBT demographic would have a better understanding of it, but apparently not.

I think at this point, given the sincere explanations and attempts at educating you on the matter that you have ignored or refused, it’s difficult to take anything you say in good faith now.
You’re refusing to accept basic empathy for the circumstances of others and you’re comparing bigots and people opposing that bigotry to be “two kids arguing”, which is quite offensive and incredibly naive.
You seem set on dying on this strange hill, so go for it I guess.

They do moderate it though? Like with everything, if something is reported, they look at it and then take action.
That’s how ALL of WoW works. You also signed a contract when you first opened the game to agree to follow these rules. Remember, you don’t own your WoW, you’re renting access. They own your character, your account, everything.

Yes.
Roleplaying is an entierly player created subject, and they treat it in their rules/ToS as us chatting like any other player. The only diffrence being we also got a couple of extra guidlines to keep things immersive, such as naming policy etc.
But we are under the -exact- same rules otherwise in chat behaviour. And moderated accordingly.
Didn’t you want to say the n-word if it weren’t a bannable offense IC and OOC though?

People havn’t gone anywhere they just get sick of not having a intelligent conversation.

It wasn’t meant to be backhanded, apologies. It was more geniune surprise at things sorting itself out that quickly. I’m not complaining, I just didnt expect it since others have pointed out this before me!
