so during legion i grinded all the prestiges level up to the final title don’t remember whats its called but what ever that title today is at level 300 honor reward so that means i should be at honor level 300 now with bfa hiting us and the whole change to everything with honor level blizzard decided to give me the level of drum roll everyone!!!.. level 130… … aka they litterly took 170 honor levels bascily stright off me and now gonna force me to grind them back …what??? how does that make any sense…??
Having max Prestige on a single character won’t equal max Honor for the entire account.
The reward structure stayed similar, but moved from single character based to account wide.
So having the reward from the old system as you do doesn’t mean you reached the same point in the new system automatically.
You would have needed multiple characters all with high Prestige (honor earned) in the old system to max out the new account wide Honor system when Battle for Azeroth launched and made that conversion from old to new.
Nothing was taken from you though, you still have the amount of Honor earned on this character (and all your other characters too as it’s account wide now) as well as any rewards you had achieved in the old system.

so first of all back in legion i was supposed to have known to level multiple character to max prestige ahead of time for BFA thats why you are saying here… which is so dumb second of all yes you guys stole honor level from me cause the max prestige reward will give the titel the tactician WHICH I GOT BTW and today in wow with BFA IS THE REWARD FOR HONOR LEVEL 300 WHICH I DON’T HAVE IM 131 SEE THE ISSUE?
He didn’t say you were supposed to have known that, and it likely wouldn’t have made a big difference if you did either.
The maximum level in Legion of “Prestige 25 Honor 50” translates to roughly BfA honorlevel 128. Everyone who had a lower prestige than you back in Legion started at a lower honorlevel in BfA (Prestige 15 players went to BfA honorlevel 73, Prestige 22 players went to BfA honorlevel 108, you went to 128, you get the idea). As such, nothing was lost.
As for the rewards you unlocked, those should still be unlocked, so nothing lost there either. The fact that rewards that you have already unlocked are now hidden away under higher honor level achievements just means that people who didn’t put in the work (during Legion) will now have to work their way all the way up to level 300 in order to get the same reward that you already have.
The only people who have a leg up in terms of their starting level in BfA (compared to yourself) are the people who put in the same amount of work as you did, but then repeated that same amount of work again, all over again, on another one of their alts. As the honor level in BfA is now account wide, people who did prestige up multiple characters now have the honor equivalent of their alts prestige added to their account level as well, on top of that of their main, which could then result in them having a higher ranking than you.
They’d likely still be nowhere near 300 though, which was the point Tizaksul was making by saying “you’d need multiple characters all with high prestige”.
If your point was something like “had i known this in advance i would have capped 2 more characters during Legion”, then sure that would have been possible, but you can still start pvp’ing on those 2 alts today and get a similar end result for similar work, so nothing lost there.
The people who did prestige cap 2 characters (during Legion) had to put in twice the work you had to, so this seems like a fair state. If you kept doing more pvp after reaching the prestige cap during Legion (i don’t know if you did), then you were doing that knowing you wouldn’t be getting any prestige/honor credit for it (as you had reached the max cap) so expecting a reward for that now seems counter-intuitive.
In short, just because the tactician title is now under Honorlevel 300 instead of under Prestige25+50 does not mean those 2 things are equal and that you deserve 300.

Every new expansion some rewards become much easier or much harder to unlock and getting upset about it doesn’t help. Burning Crusade players had to work very hard to get epic flying, post-Burning everyone gets it almost without effort; or on the other side of the scales, Burning Crusade players could farm tier 3 armor with relative ease, but now this requires multiple millions of gold and a close eye on the black market all year round. Every single expansion everything shifts around a little, you win somewhere, you lose out somewhere else.

first of all yes i deserve 300 honor level cause tactician is the level 300 honor reward and i got that reward back in legion don’t put that the tactician as a 300 reward then put it at 130 second off all yes the statment off there is no insetive for me to level max prestige CAUSE THERE WAS NON so no this new system going ‘‘oh hey all people in wow who for some reason decidied well gj even tho there was no reason for you to do it heres some more honor level then everyone else and for all off you others who dident do it even tho there was no reason level max prestige on multiple toons… well TO BAD LOL you guys should have for some reason have known that even tho there is no reason for it’’ like are you stupid or what? there was 0 reason for me to level more then 1 character to max prestige back in legion non non what so ever you can’t say i diden’t put my work into cause there was no work on reason to do it it doesn’t matter if other people did it there was still 0 what so ever reason to do it and no your littler final note on the whole burning crusade stuff is NOT similar what so ever and is a complet pointless remark and no me already having the rewards now DOES NO VALIDATE ANYTHING cause if i want the new stuff i have to grind 270 levels FOR NOTHING CUASE ALL THE REWARDS BETWEEN MY CURRENT 130 AND 300 I ALREADY GOT SO THE ITS LIKE I SAID 270 LEVELS OF NOTHING UNTILL I CAN GET SOMETHING
NEW THAT FUN oh wait its not its frustrating and not worth the time and effort and don’t even start on the whole grind for that 500 honor mount
