Can anyone explain to me how honor progression work? After this week my corporal rank did not even move 1 inch after about 3,5k honor.
They changed how honors and ranking works.
U either have enough to rank up, and u rank up. Or u dont have enough and u stay where u are .
No more progresion bar , either everything or nothing
How can this not be a bug then? Asuming the go with this “brilliant” new way of calculacting, the even higher ranks gonna be a super pain then? just wait for “u need 150k honor to next rank”. And you have to do it in 1 week without you actually knowing if its going to be enough.
There is chart somewhere in blue posts and on wowhead so u know u have enough if u meet requirements .
And ye its kinda pain, iirc for r14 u need like 500k , but its still better than what there was before which required a ton of farming

You can download an addon called Ranker (make sure you search for the SOD version) and it tells you with 99% accuracy how much more you need and what rank you will be.
Is this rank3? We are being locked for now and we cannot progress further thank rank3.
That being said, from my expirience: I progressed up o rank2 after first reset with only 350honor, then today I progressed to rank3 with 7.2k honor. Ppl said you need 12k honor in total to jump from r2 to r3 but it wasnt true so all the ranking addons arent worth it since they clearly changed honor caps needed to progress.
So how exactly does it work?
I was rank 0 i got 5500HP last week and i got promoted only to rank 2 , not 3. The same happend to many people. What is final requirment to get rank 3?

Like, Blizzard said rank2 2kHP, rank3 5kHP. You are getting to 5kHP and then have to wait another week bcs that wasnt enough 
No. Ranker doesnt work with changes they introduced into SoD. I was told to get either 12500 from r1 to r3 or 11250 from r2 to r3. I got 7k honor last week and got promoted to r3.

This would mean that if you dont reach the amount of honor needed for next rank on the current week, you could just have avoided pvp all together. Because next week you have to start from 0% on your current rank again.
Yo, did you get to r3 from r2 or just straight from r0? Maybe system doesnt let you progress all the ranks in one week?
I was at 0% on rank 2. And after this last week im still at 0% in rank 2. I downloaded the ranker addon and it says i now need 4500 honor for rank 3.
This whole system is really weird. I expected to reach Master Sargeant with 1.1k but only got promoted to Sargeant.
Sergeant is the highest achievable rank in Phase 1 of SoD; you literally cannot go beyond it.
Master Sergeant / Senior Sergeant, Sergeant Major / First Sergeant and Knight / Stone Guard are only available come Phase 2

From r2. My friend did whole honor grind with me and he only got to rank2, maybe you are right about progressing 1 rank at a time
Don’t listen to them. You can go from rank0 to rank3 with 11250 honor in one week. You can jump to rank6 with maximum amount of honor (500k) if the current bracket allowed it.
Rank 2 from 0 = 15 HK.
Rank 3 from rank 2 = 4500 honor.
IF you were rank2 last week, and this week with 4500 honor you only got rank2, it means you got Dishonorable Kill (killing a civilian NPC), which put you back to rank1, meaning you’d still need 11250 honor to achieve rank3.
You could be in a raid and if somebody in the raid kills a civilian, you get this as well. So if you want to rank - avoid stupid raids
