Hop Over to the Trading Post for April!

Yeah do not blame the players for that.

Same. I collect mostly mounts and of course tmogs. Pets when i find them. I’ve done mostly M+ since late Legion on multiple alts, raided if i felt like it but mostly for end of the xpac AoTC mount, never PVP because i don’t understand any of that and don’t care to unless i play with friends. Altoholic to the max lol

You have, can’t remember his name, a streamer that i think almost has every plate mog in the game and cloaks.
I do know some people that collect to 100% it as much as they can but i don’t really want to do that. That is a full time job for sure.

A part of me wants them to bring back old stuff like AoTC mounts, raid mounts, tmogs, artifact appearences but another part doesn’t because you earn those stuff in game. Im that kind of person that would care one bit if they brought back any of the KSM or AoTC mounts. Its cool to see people use cool mounts and know they did something to get it (most of the time at least)

I dunno really. There are alot of problems with the game that is simply created by the players.

The game can only be blamed for that by diversifying too much.

Whilst I appreciate that people are attracted to the game for different things. Players are always going to come up against walls when they’re playing at an extreme end. i.e. their favourite Class/spec might not be playable at 3k rating, or in this instance, they’re forced to choose between A mount and a pet.

It’s not really a game breaking problem, we just get on and enjoy another part of the game.

This thread has nothing to do with “FOMO”.

There’s very minor things that’s the fault of players like the creation of addons and parsing. Blizz could have combated that but they didn’t. They let people enjoy the game for better or for worse.
Most of the time, its the devs “fault” since they, you know, make and code the game. Not every single time of course. They can’t please every single person.
But Blizzs choices doesn’t always turn out great. Just look at what they did with conduits in SL. They put a charge so people couldn’t minmax by going out of the raid and back in for every single boss. They wanted people to have a “meaningful choice”. Look at how that turned out until they changed it and made it good. And this was mostly for the top raiders and it affected everyone.
They made a decision because of a small minority. The players didn’t, blizz made that choice and changed it.

I see the same thing here with tenders. I see more people saying they want more tenders by doing more stuff and not a solid wall hitting them because blizz said so. Then i see a small amount of people saying its fine because the only thing on the Trading post they like was a recolor of a sword and nothing else. Why do people who buy 1 cheap thing care about why collectors want all of it? Its cosmetics after all. Its a selfish mindset.
