After some testing MW feels even worse than live.
I know there are still a ton of bugs so some specs (Fistweaving) are not even playable/testable but for the traditional style of “Healing” MW feels not good.
One big factor of that is now the Statue which got the timer gutted so you have to manage it every 6-8 seconds which simply put is really annoying and completely disturbs the playstyle.
The Weapons of Order Essence Font was gutted down, this thing was very good (potentially a bit overtuned) at the beginning but now it does like no healing compared to anything else we have. This is the Covenant ability - on a big CD - and it does soo small healing now and is capped. Honestly number tuning is ok if it is done by small itterations (not like they have done it now) but just simply putting a cap on it feels like a very “lazy” and bad way of trying to balance stuff.
Expel Harm on my testing is basically a higher cost Vivify, this needs either a big number tweaking or an entire rework, other wise it is not worth the mana spent on.
The list goes on but these were the ones which stood out for me the most.
Another big issue is still the awful mana management MW have to endure, you can burn so fast through your mana (on every playstile) it is not even comparable to other classes.
The general playstyle in Raids in BFA was basically spamming Essence Font - and thats mostly it. The same is true now for Shadowlands.
I really have hope that at least the Fistweaving playstyle is somewhat viable but so many stuff is bugged or not even working at all that I cannot properly test or even play that style. I hope the devs fix the issues soon so that we at least can even test Fistweaving properly, maybe with that we will (possibly?) have a competetive spec for healing.
