why is there the polemarch adrestes ?
ā¦only because he fits on ātraditional decoration?ā
ā why not hunt-captain korayn ? he would be the 3rd guestwith dangerousā¦
tea party lowers exitement on choofa and baroness and only helps on polemarch with āformalā
ā so we have as alternativ then divine desserts that improves only baroness or the mushrooms that lowers only baroness ādecadentā but it also raises dangerous that helps on 3 guests !
It was a mistery for me too
My Vasjh Group is: Grandmaster Vole (Dangerous) Choofa (Exciting) Hunt-Captain Korayn (Dangerous and Casual) Baroness Vashj (Dangerous, Decadent and Exciting)
With
Lost Chalice Band +Decadent and +Exciting Mushroom Surprise +Dangerous and +Humble Traditional +Clean and +Dangerous. Venthyr Volunteers +Dangerous and +Exciting
But thanks to Theotars soulbind ability, āLife of the partyā I think its very easy to finish with 4x eleveated gueast even with the worst combination
But better safe than sorry
And a deadly court is a fun court
Ember Court requires a tremendous work and plannig at first sight (and secondā¦ aaaaand third)
The dozens of quests, the RSVPs, the perks and favor gatheringā¦
ā¦for a short scenario per week that in theory provide the same as any other Covenantās mini-game/feautre?
Maybe?
Iām not familiar with the Kyrian one, but the Queenās conservatory untill you reach the full potential only gives a handfull of crafting mats (4 bonesā¦ yay) and the normal/greater spirit drop is exremly random, except that weekly quest, nothing gives you a fix spirit/greater spirit
The Abomination stiching isā¦ interesting, but aside the consturcts weekly, nothing really there, and a few of them actually usefull (I love Guilotine thoā)
Ember Court keeps you entertained, and - of course this is my personal oppinion - always looking forward to the next courtā¦ while the Abominationās more like a chore for the parts, a bit āokay lets just get over itā, and the Queen is ā¦ honestly sometimes even forget I have a conservatory
As far as I can tell, they made a tons of quest, achivements, perks and featurs you could gather for the Ember Court but not a must for a Court, while the other Covenantās features is a bit like a stepchild in a very bad family, sad and neglected
Truth to be told, never managed to finish that darn event; a bit like the hungry hungry gromā¦ usually let these two to the last and my Guest already are elevated mood, soā¦ not really bothered neither of them to solve
But would be nice to know how we could help the poor guy to impress his girl
I canāt remember the moves correctly for each action, but number 4 works always, but it has a long cooldown. The rest have to be figured out, but most of them are quite simple.
I just get it wrong too often and then it sets me back too much time. So I try to avoid doing that event unless I have nothing else left. I had hoped a cheat sheet would appear with time.
The idea of that selection, as far as I understand it, isnāt to maximize the engagement of a single group but to create four balanced groups that account for all 16 possible guests.
Because as much as Polemarch Adrestes tries to get out of going to court every time, in the end heās still having fun, and we wouldnāt want him to feel left out.
We canāt just switch him with Korayn, and putting him into the Countess group would leave Rendle & Cudgelface, who donāt work with Lady Moonberry either. Keeping everyone involved is rather tricky.
Yeah, there are combination that will gives you a headache (not to mention the decorationsā¦)
Rendle & Cudgelface are one of those guest who you want to justā¦ leave out if possible; or focus on the other three and when it comes to the last minute, thwrow gift on them, greet them personally, name them the honored guest, take a picture with them and so onā¦
Still, I love the Ember Court just for that, it keeps your brain moving, 20+ min (depending of you Ambasaddor reserves in your bag for extra 3 min) intense activity and you have to keep an eye on your guest not justā¦ yard work or running errands for your abomination wannabees
