So, purely from a “geo-political” point of view. I think we could potentially see some interesting shifts happening in the world of Azeroth that I hope get some Representation in the game world, because basically here’s my train of thought.
With the destruction of the Undercity, Quel’Thalas is the last true stronghold that the Horde has on the Eastern Kingdoms… and it isn’t even close to the power that The night elves projected with Teldrassil… The destruction of Undercity could have some serious ramifications for the Horde, and an amazing opportunity for the alliance…
As it relates to Blood Elves, I imagine we would naturally be forced to see Silvermoon Open up, and the horde begin to station more and more troops into the Elven lands. Even barring any aggression from the Alliance, I’d imagine seeing more and more remnants of the scourge pouring out of the plaguelands Into Quel’Thalas and neighbouring areas could have serious destabilizing effects.
Something like the retaking of while perhaps not Lordaeron, but certainly Guilneas seems to be something that should be on the cards for the alliance, as it would completely cement their hold on the continent, and curb any chance for the horde launching anything but a massive slow and grinding offensive.
We have seen in BDA and really throughout BFA that the Alliance does in fact have an expeditionary force capable of projecting power over those distances. So I would be very curious to see what you guys think the ramifications will be, if any? And do you think we will see them represented in the game world at any point?(mebeh they fix Silvermoon… jk they arent…)

Calia will give the forsaken their lands back. She’s the rightful heir of lordaeron after all. Making any alliance claim nuff and void. Nice try but the answer is no.
Not sure why everyone thinks the Undercity was the only Holding the forsaken had.
They still hold Hillsbarad, Silverpine, Tirisfal and a good part of the western plaguelands with a by now rebuilt Andorhal, as well as (afaik) a newer Stronghold in the ruins of Alterac.
That just sounds lazy :’(
The Alliance also reclaimed and rebuilt the Kingdom of Stromgarde as they won the Arathi Warfront. From Stromgarde they can start rebuilding Gilneas as well (they actually sent forces to occupy Gilneas during the Fourth War, according to the war table missions).

Isn’t she abdicated the throne, so to speak and every right that comes with the name Menethil (land, title, etc) after Arthas stained it beyond redemption?
Not sure, just I think I’ve heard it somewhere…

She isn’t Arthas and had done nothing evil. On paper she can use her rights and leade the forsaken with the undead kingdom of Lordaeron. It is obvious where Blizzard is going with here. Anduin knows shes the rightful queen. Stormwind have no rights but those of conquest.
Still can’t figure out what this guy Erevien actually thinks. Pretty sure just a few days ago he was shtting on Calia. Did you finally realize Calia is a better waifu than Sylvanas?

I don’t know if and when Calia will become leader. Voss is now leader the plan is to return to Lordaeron she has invite - recruit Calia, Derek, Delaryn to join. That defuses Alliances oposition and Calia sort of legitimate it from Alliance perspective.

Even if Calia gave the lands back to the Forsaken, she is not horde and the Alliance would have free pass on it. There are Lordaeron humans too.

I doubt blizzard will rework any of the blood elven lands.
They are making her the Forsaken leader. And Forsaken are indeed Horde. Checkmate.

My favourite troll acknowledges me, how lovely!
Well then, you have Calia Menethil, a Horde leader who is more loyal to the Alliance and Anduin in particular than to the Horde, as well as someone who will allow humans and therefor the Alliance to inhabit Lordaeron freely. Congratulations!

There really is no difference between Alliance/Horde territory anymore, since the two factions are in such good terms now. Anduin made a speech in the middle of Orgrimmar, while Baine and Mayla were allowed inside Stormwind Keep.

Maybe reclaimed, but it takes longer than a few months to rebuild a City let alone a Kingdom.
Didn’t she say in Before the Storm that she’s not part of the Alliance, along with Alonsus Faol saying that he’s not part of the Forsaken?

They literally rebuilt the entire kingdom in the few months between the Gathering/end of Legion and the beginning of BfA… Not only that, in that time they even built new settlements like the village in front of Stromgarde.
A Kingdom is more than a fortress and a village.
It needs a functioning monarchy, an army and a way to support itself.
Stromgarde has no real own Army, it’s just a keep with a few outposts, sucking ressources from their allies without the ability to give back.
At best they’re a puppetstate under stormwind, at worst just a new province of the empire of stormwind.

That’s literally what Stromgarde is when the Alliance wins. It has farms, lumber mills, mines, etc. It also has its own army, as can be seen by the many footmen clad in Stromgarde armor. The rest of your post is headcanon.
And btw, No, in Warcraft a kingdom doesn’t need all of that at all. Both Dalaran and Suramar are considered kingdoms despite only consisting of one city.

and both have an own Army, a Leadership structure and even a way to support themselves.
And i’m not sure the Warfront represents the real state of the kingdom. But if it does we can stop fighting alltogether because apparently you can magic Armies, Cities and everything else from nothing.

I literally just explained to you that Stromgarde have their army, their means of supporting themselves, and their leadership (what do you think Danath Trollbane is?).
Why wouldn’t the Warfront represents the real state of the kingdom? Tf? It literally represents Stromgarde when the Alliance wins the battle, and now we know the Allinace won the battle.
And why does the last thing surprise you? Hello, this is a universe where an entire city survived for 10.000 years out of magic alone.
