Against archers yes.
Against players not - horde player will autoattack you through walls circling around, wich makes flag capping trully hell and imposible for casters - they have to go outside and deal with interupter.
Horde inside the bunker can easy scatter and dodge aoe, meanwhile alliance group defending capped tower can be aoed down by some undead inbred spamming blizzard, u have no place to dodge that. So alliance favored, much wow.
Didnt watch rest outdated bullsh!t made by some clueless fat streamer.
bridge is the only way to base
See ? This guy is trully clueless.
Opinion discarded.
ibt and frostwolf are much easier to defend. Drek is far harder than vanndar, same goes for galv vs balinda. once u cap a tower as horde it’s incredibly easy to defend and drag out fights there, as opposed to the horde towers.
Alliance backdooring is a complete waste of time as it requires a long series of walljumps.
You are comparing actively defending a tower vs. passive npcs that are always there. It is a complete nonsense comparison.
As Alliance you can run up the tower and cap it straight away. Horde has to have players already up there defending to prevent the cap. Whereas as a Horde player you have to kill bowmen before you can even start the cap. That takes a bit to do as solo even if you have crazy gear. Alliance players have time to notice it and run up to intercept.
I’m not sure how significant this is nowadays but the advantage with the towers is 100% for Alliance.
Horde start literally in the middle, alliance in whe world’s аrse.
(Horde entrance being moved back in TBC+ for a reason.)
Horde can completely dodge SH bunker and its archers, meanwhile alliance gather all arrows on its way, and when u come to horde base (if) you look like hedgehog.
Alliance base has 2 walljump backdoors, horde base has 0 except 5 metters away gap in fence no1 counts as backdoor.
Alliance boss can be solopulled, Drek tar can b not.
Alliance boss has crap thunderclap, horde boss cleaves like Thanos and wipse floor with meele attackers. Horde dps is YOLOLOLO, alliance is DODGE CLEAVE smart game.
Balinda is magic damage, every class can tank it with a healer behind, for Galv u must have platers or mail minimum. In additional, Galv has strong fear with a high chance to resist the fight.
Galv is twice easier to defend due to archers support, Balinda sits in her lair alone.
IB chokepoint is the best def point in the game, two blizzard spamming mobgoloids can stop alliance raid. And if they die, graveyards within TEN METTERS away lmao. You can spam aoe from graveyard.
In the same time horde dodge IW bunker being shot by ONE archer just by hugging the wall, and on the other side they met another lonely archer.
You have to recieve some medical prescriptions for “av alliance favored” statement in 2019 year. It favors only rush games where noone attacks noone.
You are comparing actively defending a tower vs. passive npcs that are always there. It is a complete nonsense comparison.
horde rapes archers with ZERO problems
Argument “alliance bunkers can not be capped without killing one npc” is oulled out of the аss.
Horde rogues easy sneak into bunker, sap one archer and cap bunker if they are not braindead. Alliance rogues always being spotted cause when you walk in stealth near archer hitbox its always a reveal due to very narrow edge.
There is another problem worth to mention, if we manage to kill galv, half raid is in combat due to archers and you cannot reset combat until you kill them.
No reason to point out all problems hordes will never meet as alliance does every game.
If some1 brings “av is ally fav” he is trolling or plain tarded.
Actually there’s one that can be done on foot as well. Maybe the same as you think of, but just jump from a certain point on the mountain, and just walk up, right inside the base.
So?
You just get some ranged classes to the aid station and take pot shots at them as your archers pepper them.
Maybe try defending instead of switching your brain off and zerging, you might get somewhere.
We adapted, why can’t you?
It is still glitch. If 5-10 horde players use it correctly, you cap Stormpike GY 3 mins faster than alliance reach Frostwolf.
Call it however you want, you use game bug to favor your winning chances.
I agree with all but the wall jump thing. There is a second backdoor patch near the south bunker where you basically just run up and spam jump and you are up in 1-3 seconds. Just avoid pulling the harpy next to it.
I was refering to the alliance backdooring the Frostwolf base. Horde backdooring Dun Baldar should have been patched 15 years ago, but blizzard clearly doesn’t care about the quality of their game outside money making potential or if it is an “esport” like overwatch or wow arena/m+
I’ve never used it in all my time playing WoW, nor have I seen people encouraging others to use said shortcut (I didn’t even know it existed until you guys started whining about it).
We don’t need to use it anyway since you guys give up the moment your mindless zerg rush flops.
I have used the backdoor a few times, but honestly, its even easier to defend than the normal bridge entrance. The fact that there is not a single alliance on defense is the real issue here. Can blame it on a terrain “exploit” but honestly, with no defense its just as easy to walk in the front door.
Start defending your freaking base, or you have no right to complain about loosing. What do you expect? One side defends and attacks, the other only attacks and leave their main objective completely undefended. Who would most logically win? Its not rocket science…
No you don’t understand, they can’t defend their base because Horde have OP racials and a shortcut to their aid hut.
Not because most of them are PvE heroes who can’t adapt to any tactic that isn’t “switch off brain and zerg” or something, that would be absurd.
