Firemaw is huge server and we had 50:50 balance there for year+…
But in last time Alliance moved there in little bigger number then Horde so we have here 55:45 balance.
I appeal to Horde players who want best game experience to choose Firemaw as their destination and to make server 50:50 again.
Look those poor Horde on Gehennas, 99,8%… they can’t complete Hellfire PvP bases daily Q which game same Honor as Terokkar Towers.
How Gehennas Horde think to win WINTERGRASP in Wotlk?
I doubt “retail friendly” Blizz developers will free mix Gehenas with other server to help balance so Gehennas Horde are probably doomed there.
Horde, if you still thinking where to move choose Firemaw, yes is affilate with many layers but feeling is best.
Make an an already over populated server worse, and make login queues at peak times longer. Let alone encouraging players to migrate off other servers that have small(er) but healthy pops.
For the last two months, Firemaw population remained stable. No massive swings in either horde or alliance side, even after including Firemaw into the list of realms eligible for free transfers. So a claimed 100:0 definitely ain’t happening within 7-8 months when Wotlk cames out. Even upcoming free transfer waves won’t change that, because Firemaw/Gehennas will not be in the destination realm list.
Time to start farming horde on mass to push them off !
Jokes aside, imo as long as its withing 5-10% server balance is fine. In both ways ofc. When it starts getting 70/30 and the like ? Thats when its over.
Since when do you speak for most players? I dare say most people don’t give a rat’s behind whether you keep your name - does it make any change in the way you feel about it?
Server populations and transfer vectors clearly show that vast majority of players wants to be on a dominant faction and almost nobody wants to be on even a slight underdog faction. Has any Alliance transferred to Golemagg? Any Horde to Ashbringer? Yet the entire ZT Alliance population went to Earthshaker that has 0 Horde without a second thought. I think it is crystal clear what people want - large population of their faction with absolutely no regard for the amount of enemy faction, as long as it is not more than 50% of the server. This is not my opinion, it is what IF pro data shows.
Sadly the truth. Classic was a great social experiment which showed in 2 years why retail became retail over 20 years with LFG-tool, sharding, layering, connected realms, etc.
The irony here is that I am Horde on Firemaw as well. But I played underdog faction before and it usually results into snowballing disbalance after certain patch, like phase 2 of Classic or xpack release. Rerolling into humans to get EMFH will be massive on Firemaw.
What you are describing is the consequence, it says nothing about if the situation for the game is good or bad.
Also, i think it’s crystal clear you and alot of other people should have started on a PvE servers instead of PvP. You whine about ganking everytime you write.
Never said this is not true. I should have, as well as many others. Won’t make that mistake again.
Also about the “consequence”, I never made any value judgement on it. May well be that it is objectively bad for the game. But people consciously WANT to be on a populous, dominant faction.
Oh yeah, I agree. The losers will reroll human and claim that they always played Alliance.
But will it matter that much in a dead world?
There will be zero World PvP, because the human racial is mostly useful in Arenas. All good PvE players will play Horde, so I suspect you’ll see plenty of us out and about, since most sweatlords will be AFKing in Dalaran waiting for the Arena queue to pop.
