Horde Hunters in Redridge

@blizzard can you stop hunters from sitting at the top of redridge (got there by exploiting) and sending pets down. This is not pvp and is completely exploititive and not in the spirit of the game. literally just remove a rock from the cave at galardell valley and it will stop them from doing it (i dont know any other way) for people leveling it makes it almost impossible

This sort of degenerate behavior was a thing all the way since Vanilla. Blizzard did not stop it for 20 years, don’t expect them to do it now either.

That’s why I did not even bother with PvP server, it’s just a huge waste of time. 95% of the time it’s just onesided BS and a waste of time.

this is very rare because z-axis guards evading is strictly against tos since original vanilla and players usually avoid to exploit this thing, especially after they spent dozen of hours on prebis grind
just report them, make screenshot and send to hacks@blizzard.com with text worded like “geometry abuse for guard evading… unfair advantage in pvp… blocks my character progress”

But safespotting was banned in vanilla 2019? Lol. Yes blizzard does do something about them.

Leave the zone, and if you think its bad now, wait until P2 when Redridge+Duskwood will be unplayable as Horde will perma camp both zones with level 40 groups.

Personally working on my lvl 40 druid alt and camp it in Duskwook questing area.

There are worse things crawling out of the Ravenhill crypts than some decaying living dead.

If you can get somewhere it doesn’t mean it’s exploiting, no I don’t do it. Besides, it’s PvP so why should Blizzard stop it?

If YOU think it’s wrong then you report it.

This is a terrible take on this, it is clear the area should not be acessable as it has unfished textures. the area is only accesble by using carefully placed jumps. You can get underneath orgrimar so by your logic this isnt exploitation? lol

Hiding behind the fact its a PVP server and saying if you dont like it leave is non logical as the word PVP sudgest one person against another. which this isnt because you cant play against it.

I do think its an issue and i have reported it?

Who cares where the hunters stay ? They will kill you with their pet only anyways

PvP is being killed by another player, who said it had to be fair or equal? All you need to do is leave the immediate area.

That’s all you can do, and maybe stay away from that area.

Change layer could help?

ah the auto bans, the wows answer to Cancel culture.
Imagine abusing a report system, because your little nerd feelings got hurt.

Safe spotting is a bannable offense and is breaking ToS.

Its not abuse, if the action is susposed to happen, and also its not a case of “getting hurt”.

Its a case of a fellow player is breaking ToS.

If i report a murder. It isnt bexause i got my “feelings hurt” its because its the correct course of action in said event.

As its bannable, players exploiting it are susposed to be banned. So a auto ban isnt abuse, jts the correct course of justice based on rule set blizzard has laid down.

The auto ban aystem is in place to trigger bans on accounts breaking ToS. How can it humanly be abuse, if its quite litterally only doing what its built to do

Safespotting is against ToS. So it dont matter, you report it to uphold blizzards ToS. The games more fun for everyone when people abide by it.

The redridge town, is a safespot. Proven by the fact it traps guards into a evade spam on a 2 point axis.

Ofcourse not in every case, however the redridge roofing, has been bannable always

It’s really not hard to reach that position. I’ve jumped up numerous times to get to a hunter hiding up there.

Is it really that much different to a NE hunter in shadowmeld sending his pet to attack people?

Would you mind linking the part of the ToS that mentions it please? Personally I thought it was Blizzard who decide if something is against the rules and I cannot remember it being mentioned.

Getting on the roof is very easy and that means that the Alliance should be able to get there too.

"Safespotting is the act of PvPing from an advantageous position that cannot be reached through regular jumping or walking. If you got to the position using a spell, potion, wall climbing, or additional means, it is likely safespotting.

Safespotting may lead to the temporal or permanent closure of your account. Play fair."

I’ve been trying to find something in ToS and will keep looking.

Just ignore him, nothing he writes is his genuine opinion.

Don’t feed the troll, let him write his nonsense.

Lol, its still a exploit to a area of the map that isnt susposed to be reachable.

And easy? It isnt achieved via jumping, its achieved by glitching, which btw the 25 is free to hit you while climbing.

Please tell me how glitching into a wall up the back of a building is “so easy” with 4 hunter pets on you.
