Just a quick query.
Are there any guilds on the Horde side that are intelligence/spy based?
I know there were a few, a year or so ago, but I’ve been out of the loop for a while.
Any and all help is really appreciated.

Due to the feedback, DMs and queries, and in the absence of a current guild/community, I will be creating one myself. I am working over the bank holiday weekend, but from Monday I will start laying the ground work.
Please update me with information on any current guild and/or community. I’m not about stepping on people’s toes if one already exists.
But as for actual Horde guilds, some have microcommunities, and even though there is always an interest in intelligence/spy based RP on Horde, it also involves a lot of groundwork that (understandably) nobody (to my knowledge) wants to commit to at the moment.
It’s a bit of a shame because I still spy a lone, guildless Shattered Hand agent here and there.
PS: I’m asking the rogue community just to confirm, but so far their observations have been reflecting precisely what I’ve already stated here.

I am strongly considering creating something, perhaps a guild and a community to allow individuals to remain individuals if they wish.
I’ve been in (and remain in) the SI:7 community for so long, and would love to bring something similar to the Horde. Create a rivalry, and some mutually beneficial roleplay with Alliance counterparts.
I guess we shall see!
A big FYI because not everybody may know this - but the reason we bring up the Shattered Hand is because in the MU, many orcish clans have transformed into agencies or outright cults. The Burning Blade have become demon-worshippers who also recruit non-orcs, the Twilight’s Hammer have become a multiracial doomsday cult, and the Shattered Hand just so happens to have become the New Horde’s espionage agency, a counterpart to the SI:7.
A tidbit of Horde lore not everybody may be aware of, especially not after WoD bringing back the War1&2 nostalgia and BFA’s mission table troops slapping us on the nose with a certain representation on top of it.
So in that case it would be a Shattered Hand community, if it ever came to fruition.
I’ve seen some Shattered Hand role players in various guilds or as individuals but I haven’t seen an actual guild OF spies.
I tried to start up the Ace initiative within the Battalion which was meant to be kind of this covert ops sect but unfortunately I’ve never found anyone dedicated to the concept enough to be able to lead and maintain such a thing.

The G.I.A. (Gearfist Intelligence Agency, or ‘General’), used to be a thing, but was wrecked and disbanded. There also used to be the Shattered Path ran by Kunzel and Shatterguard by Valtroiss, but… they all sadly no longer really exist. There’s some players who have their own start ups going as concepts that haven’t really been finalised or taken off, and our Guild that has an intelligence section that’s mostly based on keeping us safe from the law and making sure we stay on top of the heap on the criminal aspects, but really no solid concepts for other player made guilds or communities with a focus ONLY on information gathering or Shattered Hand activity as of right now.
