"Before the Classic release, i played on some famous private classic server for an alliance rogue. This time i decided to roll an orc hunter. Got 24 lvl and decoded to try a NE/Dwarf hunter, so I checked the loot on Ally side to make an approximate plan where i need to go, what quests to do. It feels that the Horde has more dungeons than Alliance and far better quest rewards for them.
RFC (Ragefire), WC, SFK, BFD vs Stockades, BFD, DM. Playing as a hunter or a rogue for horde feels so much better. You got 2 amazing rare swords from WC and BFD quests, you got amazing staff from WC quest and you have a rare bow from WC boss. From Ally side you got only 1 rare chest for DM quest, though you can get a rare chest from the boss.
Is it how it should be, or a balance problem, or factions (alliance/horde) are partially class oriented, or did i miss something? Will it change on higher levels?"
nothing is preventing alliance from doing WC and SFK, just like nothing is stopping horde from doing DM.
literally just run south from Ashenvale and into WC.
literally just go to southshore and run the short way west to SFK.
and for horde: fly to Grom’gol (STV) and swim around north to Westfall and into DM.
Edit: quests are a different matter obviously, but even alliance can get some quests for WC from the hidden cave above the WC entrance where a few cenarion circle dudes are hanging out, and in Ratchet from one of the goblins who wants his 99-year-old-port. not to mention that the “Glowing Shard” quest item that the last boss drops in WC can be turned in by alliance as well.
you need 1xshaman in each group to give totems "1shaman per melee group for wf ", but only 3x paladins in raid will give the whole raid 3xblessing, “kings/might” is a Huge AP gain!
alliance will have better clear for future raids content. “Naxx”
