About Us
Dark Reign was formed from a group of friends with long term experience of World of Warcraft across the whole games timeline and some of our founders were players back in the days of original WoW in 2004/5.
We are an English speaking social/raiding guild looking at progressing through all the available game content in a flexible, lighthearted and fun atmosphere. On top of that we will add sprinkling of PvP in organised Pre-Mades for the PvP players along with the casual players who might just want to chill fishing etc. Everyone is welcome to join and you can be as involved as you want to be.
A good/mature attitude and a sense of humour and not easily offended are the essential things we’re looking for. We don’t care if you are the number one at your class/spec on the server as long as you don’t stand in fire all the time, ninja loot the purples and talk crap in guild chat you should fit in nicely with the rest of us.
A lot of us are from the UK and we tend to have an odd sense of humour at times but don’t let that put you off 
Required Classes
Everyone is welcome in Dark Reign, we are aiming to allow as much flexibility as possible with class/role requirements so everyone is welcome, bearing in mind that for raids, viable composition is the priority so all roles/classes/specs might not be available all the time but we will do our best to accommodate members in their preferred spec wherever possible.
Raiding Schedule
Dark Reign will be aiming to have organised raids three nights a week on Sat/Sun/Wed at 20.00 - 23.30 (Server Time). No one will be forced to start early or continue later than the stated times and we will understand if real life gets in the way.
Loot System
Dark Reign agrees with the principle that “simple is best”. That’s why we wont be using loot councils, DKP or EPGP type systems. We think for our guild that a simple Main Spec > Off Spec with a (+1) added on each item roll win is the best option for us and less liable to cause drama. We want to make loot distribution transparent, simple to understand and fast.

But we would be raiding Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday would be a washup/optional raid day although there is not requirement to attend all 3 days, to be part of the core raid team 2 of of the 3 days would be expected and hoped for.
