Recently bought the panda boost to play a new class for pandaland and decided to do battlegrounds to gear up a bit. But quickly realised the struggle that is EU horde random bgs. players are are either lost, bots, or just wont try to win. Anyone else dealing with this same issue? I remember back in OG Cata when i would farm bgs all day and enjoy myself.
you forgot to add undergeared in the list of reasons, anyone who plays pvp for more than two weeks is already 390 with 4000+ resilience and you went in with a boosted 353 with 0 resilience (I’m guessing you did not buy the 377 pvp boes), you are part of the problem but it’s not your fault, they should have never allowed this in the first place (which is why i will never say this in-game to a lowbie…and it’s also not smart to mess up the team morale), at my last game i had a 62k HP teammate (you are thinking HOW, YES, 62K), we won, but were they supposed to be there when many of the 390s can just literally one-shot them? nope, nothing but dead weight, one global cd away from the graveyard.
wait till you see the struggle that is wg/tb, you choose to be a horde without doing any kind of research, you are an old player, you know this already, wow needs research, i feel bad for the old horde players (expansion-wise) but not for you

You are not alone in this, but don’t give up, just don’t let lose streaks break your will, and eventually you will stuck upon really nice Horde team. I remember recently I had a wsg random bg where we had 1 undergeared healer vs 3-4 full geared Ally healers. Guys said at start lose fast go next, but we took first flag and we all got some battle spirit and then took 2nd flag in really close and epic confrontation. So it’s about mindset of the team and never giving up, fall down 7 times , stand up 8. But overall it’s more like a meme now in general how unsuccessful eu Horde performing in random bgs. I switched to Ru Horde because of the sad state of EU Horde. Yes, I have a long queue for BGs, but it’s worth it.

For us. Most matches we are fighting Alliance vs Alliance. and no longer Look at the enemy as different faction. so a good fix for it would just be to let Horde players be mixed into alliance team when entering the Bg que. and Tol barad i can que into knowing get a 15 min afk break when defending. or just a Speedrun to bases when attacking.
Players just want the kills and currencies. Seeing a tauren with dwarf mask on in our team i could not care enough about to make a problem out of it
Mists of pandaria changed much in cross realm. So if they can manage to add that without bugs and also allow to make Communities inside the game. you can have players in it that are from all realms in the region. and just send this simple message : 1/5 Meaning you got 4 spots for pre made grouping with the players you have good experiences with. and filter as much bots and amateurs out of the community.
As alliance i even wish for the horde to be cooking in pvp and is dissapointing to see it like this

I would assume that most sweaty PvP players just roll alliance, horde still has some insanely talented people there’s just way less of them.
I’m sitting at a staggering 16W 97L BG winrate thus far in cata so i came to the conclusion that gearing up by playing arena is faster, easier, and less miserable.
So I’m probably rolling alliance in MoP just to be able to play BGs, first i had to ditch my sunk cost in retail and now i have to leave every 85 character on gehennas, lemao.
And in case its not opening you can always find a way into the eu horde via grp
