Dear Malyan, I could not put you into the Duel sign up as for IC reasons no one would survive an encounter with a DH in a duel and asking her to âtune it downâ would be unfair towards your character. As such, I would like to offer signing you up in the Royal Rumble instead where there is much more liberty in the contest of strength? Pardon for that, I should have clarified the restriction more clearly than âSinâdorei/Shalâdorei onlyâ because essentially Demon Hunters are often seen as more demon than bloodelf.
Please be assured that this is wholly an IC decision based on strength and mistrust levels.
Important Note:
With the first few contests close to, or already, filled up completely - we will be monitoring the sign ups and should contests such as âDuelsâ reach up to 32 interests, then those that signed up after the list already hit the full 16⊠will be then signed up in the order of listing!
I fair concern, and one that I understand completley.
Malyan is roleplayed in such a way that she does not utilize her demon powers in a friendly contest. She is well aware of the danger she is, and prefers to use martial prowess.
That being said, if the organizer ICly feels letting a demon hunter attend is unfair, then thats totally fine too. Being ostracized is a part to DH-roleplay (though most roleplayers are much to nice to indulge me in that) and I can totally see people being uncomfortable with her attending!
No resentment here, enjoy the tournament!
