Horde Travel Form?

Since Tauren and Trolls are based on savannah/jungle climate, what is that their travel form based on?

It looks like an elk but I cant find a single deer animal(even in WoW zones) that lives in tropical areas that looks like it.
The closest resemblance I could find in-game and in wikipedia is an Antelope. But the travel form doesnt look like it.

The Tauren are based generally on the plains and desert dwelling native american peoples, which is why they too use an Elk. Although the barrens is a Savannah, the general “vibe” of the Tauren is that of the Americas. Trolls use it too as something of a hand-me-down.

Okay, so Tauren basically become their Elk Form as the same teachings from the Kaldorei that revere Malorne.
But I do know that the Trolls worship the Loa to get their blessing to turn in to the form of the creature they are.
But how does one explain the troll’s elk form? Hidden Elk Loa?

well. you need to understand that they were lazy making druid forms for each race. same goes with Worgens for example. Wolf=Deer?!

Some worgen’s travel form is more… predatory  :leopard:

Could it be that the trolls revere Malorne as (if he were) a loa?

(I’m just grasping at straws here…)

First of all travel form was cheetah then it became deer

Aren’t all Wild Gods Loa but with a different name because of the Elven culture (and vice versa)?

Basically, yes and trolls will call any spirit being a loa. Wisps too, and we know those are just dead night elves.

There are plenty of species of deer and antelope that live in subtropical and tropical regions, just not that particular model for travel form.

You can always use a glyph to make it a cheetah, cheetahs live exclusively in subtropical/tropical latitudes.

Trolls and Night Elves revere the same group of beings known as the Wild Gods. The Night Elves call them Ancients, the Trolls Loa but they are the same group of beings. This is because their cultures are actually grounded in the same history (the Night Elves were once Dark Trolls).

Also, the Night Elves and Tauren trained the Trolls and Worgen and so they share very similar concepts of how their druidic magic works, whereas the allied races came about their druidic knowledge separately and so have their own, more personalised forms.
