Horribly Long Deathwalks

Sucks the fun out of the game. I will be less inclined to play with these walks.

Don’t die then.

Back in my day when you died, you lost your stuff.

Uphill both ways?

Yeah, we were planning on dying doing M+ runs but I think we will take your advice and avoid it.

Be thankful, Vanilla was much much worse.

I don’t want to be a Vanilla-boomer, but back in the day [Starts waving a walking stick around], if we had a wipe in one of the Blackrock instances, we had to cross all of the Searing gorge zone to get from the graveyard to the entrance, and then from the entrance to wherever things went wrong.

You young whipper-snappers don’t know how good you have it!

The only time the night elf wisp form was of use!

Yeah, the Barrens had some marathon length ghost runs. I don’t miss those in the slightest…

Haha golden wording. And coming from someone who played back then, I’m a massive supporter of today’s system. What purporse did these things serve? Absolutely none other, than to waste your time.

Also, they should fix / add Halls of Infusions spawn points. Doesn’t matter where you die, you get ported to the start. Not good for M+.

I remember playing Classic when that came out and having totally forgotten that there was basically one graveyard per zone. The running back into the dungeons as a ghost from the graveyard also so punishing, especially when people didn’t know the way back to some. And ofc trash respawned if you wiped too many times :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

They don’t know how good they’ve got it

Yeah, I remember my first dungeon in Vanilla was Ragefire Chasm. When you died there your ghost spawned down in Razor HIll (or whatever that town is called) so you had to run up the road to Orgrimar, then through the city to the dungeon and then through the dungeon to the boss.

Today players can’t wait 30 seconds for someone to answer the door for a parcel delivery…

Rain from up and down.

One big difference tho between then and now its timed. Like i wouldnt care how far i had to run if the dungeon wasnt timed but now they are major difference. And we’ve seen from past m+ seasons the do make checkpoints with m+ in mind but for some reason this season there seriously obnoxious run backs now. And like i said if there no timer or it paused or something i wouldnt care but there is and it just feels like a f you to the m+ players. So stupid.

From graveyard to last BRD boss was it like 10 minutes walk?

I remember respawns in dungeons due to wipes…

– But I also agree.
Loosing buffs, long walks/runs back, etc: people just “don’t have time or patience” for that sorta slow game anymore.
There’s a reason why a lot of people do not play Classic Era: Slow =/= fun for everyone.

I can appreciate both aspects, and dislike both…
I guess I am weird. :teddy_bear:

…and not a single soul liked it.

Nobody is one-dimensional and that’s totally normal. You like some, you dislike some.

Was the Maw your day

Some people are VERY extreme tho and browsing the internet too much makes me feel like the weird one for often seeing the negative and the positive.
More logic than emotion, per say. If that makes sense.

I am tired, I should go sleeps… :dracthyr_comfy_sip:
