I hate having to farm 10-20-30.000 of a currency in order to have 2-3 attempts per week for the horrific visions, especially if I want to do it On an alt. I love doing them, but hate getting there. I understand that want it to feel risk vs. reward and making each attempt meaningful, but I cant help but dislike the grind to Get there.
I thought about an idea, that lets people run it many times, but without changing up the «main runs».
Add a new item that costs 100-1000 instead of 10.000. When buying runs with this item, you can do a run like normal, but there are no mail munchers, momentos, or items at the end of the run EXCEPT for the cloak quest items or malificent cores at the end of the run if you complete it. That would mean people can catch up On the cloak faster, without lowering the requirements to upgrade it. It would also let people improve their runs without feeling like they HAVE to safe the runs every time to Get the cloak upgrade, and let people attempt mask runs to improve without having to wait 14 days for the same vision again (possibly even with complete different affixes).
I am currently On my DH requested to loot 4 pages from the medium difficulty wings, but halfway through a run the server went nuts with lag and disconnects, and i was booted from the run. That left me with 1/4 pages. On my next run I can only Get 2 more, sitting at 3/4. Then for my next run again I can Get the last one, but «wasting» an attempt for the next part of the quest. I felt really gutted, when all I cared about was to level my cloak as fast as possible.
Ive grinded like a madman on both 2 chars i have all quests everyday + pet battle and im now with 100k+ coalesing…
Doing 1 daily mini vision and invasions is fast enough!
Also my 1 and only BiS corruption is on a 445 wrist and it came from an assault lol
Replaced it with a 475 semi bis wrist
It’s a pain grinding 10,000 cv’s for a vision run only for some random bug to kill you. Like Mindtwist Tendrils hitting for 300k a tick or defib not working. I wouldn’t mind grinding at all if the place was actually free of bugs
why not remove it all togehter?
Oh right, because nobody would do their “content” anymore because it is so fun and engaging.
Visions are also only done because you need upgrade or corruption drop.
It is not so bad if you play from the beginning and have r15 cloak because after that you only need to do it once or at most twice a week. No dailys required and you don’t really need to do every assault either.
It gets stupid as soon as you need to lvl up your alt. You are limited to push your cloak and are forced to do dailys and assaults + tons of visions which are even more boring when you can only do 1-2 wings because of low cloak and no upgraded
Man, you should visit M.O.T.H.E.R in chamber of heart, she sells Vessels of Horrific Vissions for Echoes of N’yalotha, you are not limited to 3 per week.
It doesn’t matter why. I gave to OP way to increase chances to do visions and proven it’s not limited to 3 per week, if it’s efficient it’s whole different story.
Hahahahaha, well, because the amount of echoes you get is insane if you play the game… think ive spent around 10k echoes this week on vessels. Gotta get them gem sockets… and ill have 20k echoes aagain when i can buy the corruptions i want
I think you may have missed that I made this post before any of the catch up systems were announced. They sort of solved my issue, so I am no longer complaining.
