Anyone still up to it? Lately, 8.3 content has become more appealing and I really couldn’t play it at the time. The concept of horrific visions and Lovecraftian theme is very much appealing to me and I loved playing through visions of org/stormw. Late given feedback but still.
So my questions are, is there any efficient way to farm the entrance keys? There are weekly assaults of course but after the first cache of each week it is just 1.5k+900 each day. The key is 10k . Also, to farm those corrupted mementos, after putting on all the masks, are there anything more to do? Like killing every mob or scouring for chests? At this rate, I thought 5 masks would do the trick but nope, it’d take about 3 weeks for me to get the mount. Any tacts???
Visions is horrible due to the ring affix. I’ve never encountered anything like it in any other game and the only thing in wow that gets somewhat close is thanatophobia in torghast proccing well before you reach the hp threshold.
Often spawning in a way that you have to stand still unless you’re extremely careful about where you walk because there’s no exit from it.
It will also follow you into other districts where it should NOT BE. I quit runs when it spawned as I was in the cathedral place in stormwind, a district it should NOT BE IN.
I’ve never encountered anything so anger-inducing in any game as this thing.
In the final cinematic of Dragonflight, it is going to be revealed that we have never truly defeated N’zoth. Instead, everything we saw was a vision of the world (and the afterlife) that he has created. What we thought was the Jailer was in fact the Arbiter, and during the last tier of Dragonflight we’re going to end up killing off all of the Aspects. Then, the realisation will strike us. We’ve been manipulated all this time and ruined our world, which we’ll have to fix in the next expansion that brings a rework of Azeroth that’s been entirely corrupted by the Black Empire.
Not much tactics . U get like 3 keys per week and thats it do it on 5 masks clear everything . 3 weeks for mount isnt that much honestly, and be glad u arent doing it all at once , it was pain xd
Are Echoes of Ny’alotha still a thing? If so, you could farm those to get more entries. While m+ and rated PvP won’t drop them for sure, you could run Ny’alotha and I think heroic warfronts for Echoes?
I recently did a fair few runs to get the backpack.
I know that feeling!! I always intended to go back to them when I could more easily solo them comfortably with less “stress” and I actually found them fun once I had some breathing room whilst doing them.
I had some vessels left over sitting in the bank to start me off which helped but I found that I never ran out because I could run the weekly uldum and pandaland assaults really easy (just remember to equip your cloak, the ilvl drop is negligible) and do the lesser vision too, it should take you all of 5 minutes if your cloak is a reasonable level. You get enough currency for around 2.5 vessels, then if you manage a full clear you should be earning enough of the Echoes of Ny’alotha from the horrific visions that you can buy vessels from MOTHER too. You can reasonably clear everything in the visions easily at this point with plenty of time.
I didn’t do the masks though so I’m kind of skewed on how easy to clear everything is.
Collect all chests, really look around to find them but once you’ve run the visions a few times you know where to look for them so it’s easy enough, also look for the crystals and pick up as many as you can (can’t remember exactly how many there are now I have a poor memory, but I think 10 maybe) kill all mobs.
Once you get to 5 masks and have unlocked the talent which restores 200 sanity when you kill an elite, you should start doing masked runs. More momentoes to get further up that tree. The final talent is very valuable.
As you do so, you’ll be earning echoes of Ny’alotha which can also be used to buy the keys. So you can do more than three a week if you want to.
