I think horrific visions should be easier with more people engaged.Especialy Full party.
It should be possible to solo but with party it should be easier.It is mmorpg and it would incite us to group up.
Scaling in delves is awful as well, an Underpin Bodyguard solo is 80m HP in Tier 11, while as a full 5 man group they’re 700+m hp… that’s way more than x5 the health nevermind it being a group containing a healer and tank where there’s less overall DPS to that scaling!
It’s just hell of a lot faster playing alone, 5 manning it takes forever.
I think the scaling should be equal it’s just a personal preference.
In another thread I laid out what I would consider “fair” scaling:
- Initially agree on the base values of enemy hp and enemy outgoing singletarget damage and enemy outgoing AoE damage for a damage dealing character
- For each additional character present, increase the above base values additively (not multiplicatively) by:
– Tank character: HP by 40%, ST damage by 60% and AoE damage by 10%
– Healer character: HP by 40%, ST damage by 10% and AoE damage by 60%
– Dps character: HP by 100%, ST damage by 5% and AoE damage by 5%
– NPC assist character adds 80% values of the above. - If it’s only 1 character inside the instance and that solo character is not dps but tank, then reduce enemy hp by 70%, increase ST damage by 60% and increase AoE damage by 10%. If the solo character is healer, then reduce enemy hp by 70%, increase ST damage damage by 30% and AoE damage by 40%
The reason the percentages above do not add up to 100% for each additional character is because there is synergy between classes that needs to be taken into account, as well as the fact that if one player is dealing with mechanics or the bosses, the other is free to do whatever they like.
The reason the NPC assist character accounts for 80% of the above is to take into account the fact that they are not easy to cooperate with as with humans, but not make it punishing by having one, neither making it a no-brainer to always have one.

Survivability is a non-issue for tanks in this event, but you simply can’t kill stuff fast enough.
And that’s me pulling every zone in a go and nuking it down with AoE.
Like with the three orbs, I can clear each zone, and get to the last boss, but I simply don’t have enough Sanity left to deal with her on max buff
And how does one do that…
Solo player needs to move and heal = DPS loss… Group tank and healer 3 dps… no DPS loss… 5 players = 5 buffs…
Ofc mobs should have more HP when in party than solo… Delves season 1 was broken that the solo player had more HP than groups lol…

If you are running short on sanity you can try clearing one or two zones on one go, finish it, and then give it a try again. I am not sure when the sanity reduction resistance kicks in after you killed a blss once or you have to kill Alleria in the same run for it to activate.
Outside of that there are many factors that can be the reason of you running out of sanity before you finish. Itemlevel may be one big contributing factor.
I had no problems with damage on my monk for example. Had around half a sanity bar left ehen I downed Alleria, but that is in 670 ilvl, though with a tank who has the least amount of DPS available.
I managed to clear Stormwind solo eventually.
It’s all about memorizing, getting the buffs, and just pulling big.
Gear definitely matters, but with my tank at 650 now, I feel comfortable.
The hardest part is just getting that optimal route going and understanding each encounter to end it as fast and as safe as possible.
I did a full clear with a 625 prevoker with dps Soridormi. I doubt tank really needs that much ilvl to clear even on the first week.
Good for you, didn’t work for me, and I’m not using Soridormi at all.
The elite extermination perk helps a lot, I had it at rank 2 and there are 2 elites in each corrupted area and 3 elites in each lost area, so that was an extra 1000 sanity on a full run. Would be 1500 sanity at rank 3.
How can you have it at rank 2?
All ranks are locked on rank 1 until next lockout.
The talents are, but the perks you can unlock by grinding (Killing enemies, killing elites, killing bosses and collecting potions). The one you get from killing elites is the most useful by far IMO, since it helps regenerate sanity. The others are damage, haste and speed buffs, and the potion one is purely for getting more mementos.

Yes. Each of those is a power. The one in the back right is sanity restored from killing bosses.

Do they carry over between the vision events, or do we need to grind/raise them for each individual area?
e.g if I don’t max them out now, do they reset when we switch to Orgrimmar?
They carry over. I think my prot warrior friend 5 masked with it at rank 2, so 100 per boss mob. He had 2 orbs left over on his 4 mask run so that tells you how much harder adding long night was.
