You know the one, that Sons of Hodir daily quest for frozen iron scraps. Are they ever going to fix this? As I type right now, I’m having a break after 25 minutes of trying to get the scraps, having achieved a glorious 1/6 in this time versus roughly 40 other people. Granted Golemagg is a mega populated server, I understand that sometimes things take longer - but this one daily takes longer than all the other SOH dailies combined because of how stupid low the spawn rate is. Can’t only be me that’s got steam coming out my ears on this one?
The spawn rate for scraps don’t appear to be dynamically updating as more people are in the area making the quest hell on earth.
There’s more than enough of the mobs you have to kill, but when it comes to the scraps you just sit there and camp for 15 mins.
I didn’t get a single scrap in the following 15 minutes from making this post, so I’m going to save that for later when hopefully most people are busy elsewhere 
I just sit in spot and talk crap at people getting close to me and spam the ice over and over.
