Hi guys,
Yesterday playing with my Mage I realized that when you get the hot streak proc, Pyro is supposed to be “instant” and free, but that’s not entirely true, because it doesn’t work exactly like that.
The problem appears when you try to cast Instant Pyro while you’re moving, it’s supposed to work because it’s instant but the game tells you that it “can’t cast that spell while move” despite being instantaneous, so it’s something that makes no sense.
I’ve been able to watch videos from the past on YT and sure enough mages could cast Pyro while moving, this is especially annoying in PvP since you could die just because you had to stop because a bug.
I hope that it will be solved soon and Fire will return to the dynamism and explosiveness that have always defined.
Just check Blizzard skill when procs hot streak jump. It is a bug, but Blizzard ignore us as usual

Hey Stunxnet,
I’m not seeing any known bug with Hot Streak at the moment, however if the issue persists, please do report it to our developers, and they’ll be able to check this out for you.
Bug fixes are usually published in our Hotfix blogs and patch updates, which can be found in the News section of the main site.
Thank you!
I have been having the same issue since I started playing my fire mage on Cataclysm release. Not only it can’t be casted while moving when Hot Streak procs, if you have 0 mana, it says Not enough mana. This is very frustrating. Please take a look.
It seems unfortunate to me that Blizzard ignores this issue, when it is something extremely easy to fix by modifying the IDs, and at the same time it is so relevant for the fire mage’s PVE rotations, let’s not talk about it in PVP.
