[Housing] Having solo/guild castle

I think its not a “my selfish dream” but a many players dreams to have housing in WoW.

Truth is we asked for it since many years.

WoD housing was definitely a fiasco but a nice starting idea. The game needs to improve and add real housing.

For sure and also unfortunately the housing will be instanced for technical reason.

imagine on a 30k server if there are 30000 houses or even 200 guild houses on the map, impossible

Solo
A little space, can be upgrade to have a 2nd and 3rd floor by farming etc.

Guild
medium space, can be upgraded to large place by farming and depending of the amount of guildies

can be upgrade to have a 2nd and 3rd floor by farming etc.

professions tables, mailbox, No AH, etc
full customizable A to Z
thematic house, blood elve, troll, orcish. deéending of your own race.

ex : if you re blood elf you must having a blood elf house thematic but of course you can manage the inside as you wish with orcish stuff and troll furniture .

and the house must be near Silvermon
If you re a dwarve your house will be near Ironforge etc…

lets talk about the important thing for blizzard

Money

houses need to have a free basic skin a d some furniture as default custom options

if the player want more he need to go to the cash shop or/and farm or build furniture.

exemple : I want an elvish sanctum house instead of the basic elvish house = I need to pay XX euros

If I want luxury furniture etc : cash shop or achievments. etc

feature

we can imagine a new vault system with 3 slot only for guild houses

obtainable by guild activities in full group/raid guilds

objectives will change every weeks
max track loot for vault : heroic level gear

every weekly reset, the guild master can choose for the week between

PvE (not raids/m+) other activities

PvP : Open a war ticket against another guild

when the pvp war declaration in launched : Every members of the two guilds are locked in warmod only for the enemy guild during 7 days with a debuff.

you can attack your enemy even in neutral capital without being killed by guards.

I m not sure about vault requirement, its open to discussion

but Housing for more pve content and also pvp for Guild vs Guild would be great !

I’ve been waiting for housing to come for far too long T.T I do like the WoD garrison and the concept behind it but I’d much prefer a space of my own I can decorate!

Have you ever played games that have housing? How is their world more empty? It actually makes people more social and that is something WoW truly needs.

Garrison is in no shape 'o form housing. It’s a garrison, not the actual home we are asking for.

Also FFXIV wants to have a word with you as it happily proves what you said wrong. Spectacularly so! And then there’s other games with housing that do the same. Would you like a list? Actually I don’t need to make a list. All the popular and big player MMORPG’s have housing, its just WoW that doesn’t…that should tell you something.

People really, truly, deeply want it.

Lotro do it well.(Or at least did, have not played in ages)
Essentially a trophy room for SS and memes.

Could even use it to create specialized crafting areas.
Obviously as soon as you put anything more than a simple vendor in there it’ll negatively impact player interactions, so don’t.

But it’s been dreamed about since vanilla.

Right now, I would even be happy with a customizable camp like the one we have on the login screen, just in-game. A camp is completely mobile, we could set it up anywhere and it could be instanced. One can dream.

All the big and popular MMORPG’s have housing, it’s just WoW that is lacking in that department. I honestly cannot understand why they don’t realize that potent niché and fill it.
